(okay, (y/n) means your name, (f/c) means favorite color, (sf/c) means second favorite color. Let the story begin!)
Your POV
It all started on the day of my sister's wedding, when she was going to be married to that mean jerk, Derek. Of course then he didn't act like a jerk, at least not yet. Anyway, Susan had chosen me to be her flower girl. The wedding was going to start soon, my mom and three other sisters took Susan to get all glamored up, which wasn't exactly my thing so I stayed home. I was bored, the wedding was starting at 10:00. I looked at my clock and gasped, it was 9:30! The church was half an hour away! There was no time to loose, I put on my light (f/c) flower girl dress and my very special sneaker skates. I decorated and modified them myself. The main color of the shoe is (f/c), the Pegasus wings were light (f/c), the flame on the sneakers was light (sf/c) on the outside and dark (sf/c) on the inside. The wheels, which is my favorite part, are golden/silver/(f/c) colored, with a metallic finish.
I tapped the ankles and out popped the wheels, I grabbed my flower basket, made sure the lid was sealed on tight and leapt over the stairs. I ran down the sidewalk, whoosh! With each step, my wheels gave an extra push, and I could use less effort to go fast than I would in normal sneakers. Which meant I could not only run a little faster, but I had more energy to run longer. Cool, right? I reached the church at 9:45. "I got there in half the time!" I thought "Wa-hoo! And just in time too!" Susan, mom, and my other sisters just pulled up into the driveway. I saw dad coming to the drive way, he hugged Susan as everyone else got out of the car. "Hey, where's (y/n)?" Susan asked, that's when I lifted up my toes and put the weight on my heels, which slowed me to a stop. Think of my sneaker skates as two small skateboards, if I point the back downwards, it's like puting on the breaks. When it comes to turning, I would have to lean my feet, but be cautious not to lean my body too much or I'd fall down. But I've built these sneakers modifications myself, that, and I've had 4 years of practice. Anyway, I'm getting ahead of myself, I stopped just a few feet from my family and took a little bow. My family giggled then applauded at my little performance. "Thank you! Thank you!" I said, "But let's keep the focus on my big sister here! Its her special day!" Everyone nodded as we went inside as me and Susan smiled at each other before I raced inside. As I reached the church, I tapped my ankles again, which sent the wheels back into the shoes.
The wedding was about to start, but the bride, my sister, was nowhere to be found. So, me and my mom went to go look for her, after a minute or so, we finally saw her. "Mom! Look! There she is!" I said as I ran over to Susan. Her dress was dirty and ripped, her hair was messy, and she was dirty all over. "Susan! Are you okay?!" Mom asked, "I think I just got hit by a meteorite..." Susan said, Mom said that every bride feels that way on her wedding day, but I knew Susan. She wasn't known to be over dramatic when something was serious. "What did she mean, by a meteorite?" I asked myself. But I had no time to even think of going to check out where Susan got hurt, I had to go help the bride to be.
I sat down in the front row with Mom and Dad, I smiled as my sister walked down the isle, but I couldn't stop thinking about what Susan said. My sisters say that I get hooked on a potential adventure like a fish on a potential work meal. And I was fine with that, I watched as Derrek removed Susan's veil, then, something extremely strange started to happen! Susan began glowing an aquamarine color! "Wow! You're...glowing!" Derrek said, I felt like my jaw was gonna drop! How was this happening? "Thank you" Susan said, obviously not realizing what was happening. "No no!" Derrek replied, "Susan! You're really glowing! You're green!" I was trying to put my mind on what was happening! "Could the stain glass windows be casting rays of color on Susan?" I asked myself, "No, the colors would be that of a rainbow. Maybe she ate something that didn't agree with her?" Before I could think or say another word, I looked back up at Susan and gasped! Susan had now stopped glowing, but she had grown taller than Derrek! And she was still growing!!! Her dress ripped as she grew and her hair began to turn white! I became even more confused! She was having a major growth spurt! And it didn't look like it was slowing down! Everyone began to dash for the front doors. I didn't want Susan to think that I up and abandoned her, but I looked up and one of the ceiling beams fell just a few feet away from me. I quickly tapped my ankles and the wheels popped up. This time, I didn't run, I skated. Usually, I only go on full wheels in an emergency, cause moving completely on wheels was slightly harder to control than using my feet. I skated out of the church just before another beam covered the exit. As soon as I was far enough away from the church, I turned on my heels a full 180°, I stared at the now 50 foot tall Susan, the church was just about demolished. "What the heck is going on!?" I yelled. Suddenly, I noticed that the parking lot was filled to the brim with army trucks and tanks! Helicopters filled the sky and guys in military uniform raced over to the church. I was even more baffled. The military men were now trying to wrap ropes around her arms! She was able to pull away however. I had to help her! I at least had to do something! So I skated over to one of the men holding the thick ropes. As I stated by, I snatched the rope and tossed it away; freeing Susan from it's grip. But the victory wouldn't last long, the military men that I took the rope from, chased after me, unfortunately, I was on the grass, and my wheels didn't work on the grass! Without my extra boost of speed, the military men caught me and began to drag me to the parking lot. I struggled to break free from their grip. All of a sudden I heard a loud yell, it was Susan! Someone shot her with some type of flu shot needle! Although I was pretty sure that they weren't giving her a flu shot. She pulled it out of her leg, but it was too late, she started to get dizzy, then, she lost her balance and fell to ground! The ground shook underneath us! Susan tried to reach out to Derrek, but she fell asleep. I felt scared and angry, "what are they going to do to Susan?! What did she ever do to them?!" And the biggest question swirled in my head as the military men dragged me to my family's car: "What caused Susan to grow that much?" But that wasn't even the worst part. I watched Susan being loaded into a large cargo plane. That was what hurt me the most: that the only thing I could do was watch.
