Prologue

"Right, everything is set up, it's been two years and the stars have not moved since the last time.. we're in good hands.." their voice was deep and quick, he sounded like he knew what he was saying "..Mitch! Do you have everything set up?"

Snoring could be heard.. and it wasn't quiet, but at the sudden shout from the first person to speak, he woke up "WHA..! Uh, yeah, yeah. Everything is set up Boss. the star is set to land at these coordinates." His voice was very low and his accent reigned from the north. He pointed at a map laid out on a table with a large finger, where another hand slammed onto the map.

"How long are we going to take with this?! I'm bored!" the voice was much more feminine than the others and filled more with rage, her nails were sharp and painted a light shade of salmon.. WAIT, she didn't even have them painted.

"Christine, will you please be quiet, I'm trying to read!" the final voice out of the lot was deep and quiet, they seemed like the brainiest of the group, they never really cared much for what the others were doing but they always got involved with this situation.

"Enough! We leave in 5, get your shit together and meet me outside.." a psycho grin appeared across his face "..or else."

CHAPTER 1 - THAT NIGHT

Cold.. that was all that could be said about that night.. cold, ever so cold, colder than cold, so cold that the polar bears would freeze their bollocks off, that's because something monumental was going to happen. Connor Brown, a young boy from the south of England, was resting in bed when he heard an unfamiliar wailing coming from the outside world, the screeches of help caused him to stir slowly and awaken from whatever dream he had imagined.. probably something about shagging his school crush, the pervert. Anyway, his bright yellow eyes shone like golden nuggets in the night, he got up from his warm bed and realised the blistering cold would freeze his Crown Jewels until they were nothing more than tic tac sized balls, so he put on a dressing gown and walked over to the window, typical plot for something to shoot across the sky and, as if by a miracle, a purple light shoots across the sky and starts to descend towards Connor's window. As an act of instinct ,and clearly from watching too many movies, he leapt under his covers in the fear that the light might smash through his window, magically grow arms and legs and try to cut off his knob.. but no.. that didn't happen, it just stopped above the garden and fell into the grass.. pretty normal thing to see when you wake up in the middle of the night and look out of the the window. Connor was in a mix between scared and curious.. typical, so he did the only typical thing to do and went downstair and out into the garden to have a look at the potentially dangerous object that came from space and crashed in his garden.. such a good idea I wish I had thought of it myself.. OH WAIT I DID, I'm writing the book.. yeah, even the narrator knows it's a book. ANYWAY!

Connor got closer and closer to the glowing ball that had crashed in his garden, it was glowing dark purple and was wailing uncontrollably. The glowing object then leaped up and struck Connor right on the forehead and he collapsed onto the floor, the cold, wet, green floor. The star surrounded him with a purple aura and slowly started to crumble above him.

"There!.." A deep  voice came from the trees and a man with pale white skin, purple eyes, pure black hair, roughly 5'6", wearing a purple tuxedo (blazer, waistcoat, bowtie, trousers, white collar t-shirt and black pointed shoes) his facial features were hard to recognise until he got closer, he had a pointed chin and nose, and his left eye was completely black apart from the iris. He also had black stud earrings in both ears "..Now then, let's see what we're dealin' with here.." He looked down at Conner "..Jesus Christ, half the bloody star has gone into him, there's no saving the person he used to be.." he was pacing the floor wondering what to do leave him, or take him? The decision was a tough one "..Ah fuck it, I'll give this a go." The stranger then proceeded to place an emblem on Connors forehead, pick the boy up and place him back into his bed.

"I expect to see him tomorrow" the stranger said before leaving.
