CHAPTER 12 - The Elements
"Long ago, the elements arose from the soil, water, lava, air, sun and shadows, in order to keep the planet safe from all danger with their remarkable power. The elements were: Earth, Water, Fire, Air, Light and Dark. Each element had a leader based on a show of power and courage and would unite forming a group of ultimate power: The Elementals!.." Shane leaned in closer to the table, moving glasses out of the way so he could push his face closer to the edge of the table. "..Now then, people always the thought that the people of the Dark Element were the bad ones, but that all changed when the leader of the Light Element slaughtered the Fire Elements' leader, Damien. The people of the world couldn't believe the audacity of the Light Element and immediately apologised to us for the assumptions, and with that began the War of the Elements and.. well, you know the rest, The Dark Ones were made, we killed the Elemental leader of Light and victory was ours, but what we didn't know was that evolution was taking its course. That's when we had to go into hiding, people would kill us if they saw what we were, but every dark has a light, every two years, a star falls to earth and depending on the colour gives the human race the opportunity to be one of us, either that or they die due to a collapse in their body from their new power.." He then looked towards Connor "..sound familiar?"
Connor was in complete and utter disbelief, not only did he want to know more, but he felt like he knew too much for where they are with all the bonding and stuff. Of course he was desperate to know more but he didn't want to ask, the only thing that slipped out of his mouth was..
"So there are more of you.. More Elements, I mean.." Connor found himself smiling awkwardly at the statement he made, but was still unable to make any sense out of it.. luckily, Ray broke the silence.
"Yes, there are more, more of each Element, but the fact of the matter is.. We don't know where they are, the only ones we know who are still alive are the Light Element, who seem to be using The Light Ones to do their dirty work, they're planning something, and I don't think we're going to like what it is." Ray had such concern and formality in his voice, it was unclear if it was actually him doing the talking.. It was Christines' turn to break the silence.
"Why the hell are we all sitting in a bar quietly, it's either we leave and do some training, or we get fucked up! Make up your minds people!" It was evident she wanted a fun time but her constant aggression didn't really solve the problem, it only made Mitch speak up.
"Fuck it, why not, I'll go get us some drinks and we can party hard, we deserve it!" before anyone had the chance to tell him otherwise he was already ordering the drinks.
The night went well, everyone got a little closer with each other, Connor knows more about the history of his team, but one question still remains, where does he fit in?
CHATER 13 - The Villain
High in the clouds and at the peaks of the mountains is what most people thought was the sun about 20 years ago, but with later knowledge now, they know it is a palace made of pure light, The Light Palace if you will. This is Lukes hideout where his plans are deduced and schemes get more and more sinister by the second. He picked out this exact location because it was somewhere that The Dark ones would never expect him to be, as for the bad guy, he was in his dungeon giving his prisoners the most minimal amount of food possible and they weren't happy about it.
"Give us some decent Ford for once, just because its my Element doesn't mean I have to eat dirt all the time" Cried one prisoner.
"The foods too dry and the portion is too small, moisten in up and make it bigger will you?!" Shouted another.
"The food's too cold, heat it up!" Bellowed a third.
"There's no food here!" Whined a fourth.
Luke danced around the cells like the villain he was and fired back at his prisoners with the most vile of insults.. and also a pinch of evil laughter.
*Evil laughter* "I thought you would like the taste of Earth.. Eat it you ungrateful shit!"
*More evil laughter* "Keep the element away from the elemental, so no water for you mate.. Now eat!"
*even more evil laughter* "I'm sure you heard what I said before, so no fire for you fella.. Now shove it in your gob!"
*I'm sure you know what this means by now* "Ah, Air it is the finest of cuisine.. So stop being spoiled and eat it!"
His voice was deep and intimidating and his laugh was even more so, as he left the dungeon he laughed and laughed and as it echoed through the halls, the prisoners were shouting and complaining non-stop. Once he reached the lounge he discussed his plans to himself.
"So that's five out of six, I just need one more to gain complete power over the entire world, I'm coming Shane! I know you busted up my lackeys before, but by the time you get here, I'll be stronger than you, because I'll have the power of five elementals with me and with that, I will take yours and rule this pitiful place and put all of the unworthy ones in their place.. Mark my words! YOU HEAR ME!? MARK MY WORDS!" *the most evil of laughter imaginable*
