Winter opened her eyes and light slashed through her brain giving her a migraine. She groaned and rolled over closing her eyes again. She pulled up the blanket and snuggled into her bed. Wait, Bed? she thought. Her eyes flew open and she sat bolt upright as everything rushed back to her. Her efforts were rewarded with a stabbing pain in her head and a whining in her ears. Everything was spinning and she felt herself being pushed back down into her bed. The stabbing pain eased but only a little bit, and she groaned and grabbed her head. "Sleep now." she heard a voice say. But she couldn't the stabbing pain wouldn't let her. "Come on. Sleep." the voice commanded. "My head..." she managed weakly. "Okay, here." a bottle was pressed against her lips and the medicine cleared her head and let her sink into sleep.

The next time she woke up it was because a voice was calling to her. She opened her eyes and this time only a dull throbbing came. She eased herself up slowly. "There you are." a voice said. She turned to see Alaska there looking very weary. "How long has it been?" she asked. "A week." Alaska said. "What happened?" she asked after a moment. "Well you know most of the story." she said with a smile. "A strange man was seen at the gates and took out all the guards at the gate. You woke up and went straight out there with everyone else. Then he fired at the castle and the castle collapsed. But then you discovered a new skill! You created an ice shield but just as you were closing the final gaps, a piece slipped through and knocked you out. Luckily the shield just completed so it protected everyone. As soon as he saw what you did he ran." Alaska finished. "I really did that?" she asked in shock. "You did." Alaska smiled at her.

"What about the castle?" she asked afraid of the answer. Alaska smiled. "It's being rebuilt as we speak. All the builders are working on it and it will be rebuilt within two weeks." Winter smiled, relieved. But there was one more question. "Did we catch the guy?" she asked. Alaska's expression darkened. "No. But I know where he had to come from." "Where?" "The summer kingdom."
