One... Two.... Three...

"NO!!" Before I can even jump, somebody grabbed me and pulled me away from the edge.
"Let me go!!" I cried.
"No, stop." It was a man... Nick.
"Scarlett, don't."
"Let me go!!" I sobbed as I said those words.
"Are you fucking crazy?!" He suddenly yelled that made me stop.
"Why are you trying to fucking kill yourself?!" He said, never letting go of my hands.

"I know we just met earlier but I'm not gonna let you get yourself killed!" He said. I stopped crying.
"Where's your brother? Does he know what you're doing right now?" He asked.
"Probably." I answered, sniffling.
"Where is he? Why is he letting you do this?"
"He's dead Nick." I said breathing roughly after all the crying, glaring at him, trying to make a point.
"Then you're father?..."
"Dead." I coldly answered.
"My mom's dead too, if you're too shy to ask by the way." I said quivering.
"My whole family is dead..." My voice cracked.
"So... Might as well be dead too.." I said as if nothing's wrong with all the things I just said.
"Are you out of your mind?... You're going home. Now."
"Well, you can't make me." I said.
"Too bad I can." He grabbed my arm and dragged me down the stairs.
"Let me go!" I said. His hands were just too strong. I can't make him let go of me until we finally reached outside.
"Get I. The car." He demanded.

He doesn't even know where I live. And I'm not gonna tell him. I went inside the car while he went into the driver's seat.
"You don't even know where I live.." I said.
"I do... I saw you come out of your house earlier. You're just streets away from my house." He said and started to drive.
"Why are you even trying to kill yourself? You're wasting your life. Only a fucked up idiot would do that."
"Guess what? In a fucked up idiot." I said.
"No, you're not. Your just fucked up." He stated.
"You don't even know what I've been through!" I spat at him.
"I know what it feels like to lose your parents Scarlett... Mine is... You're lucky you got to know them. My parents abandoned me. Then my known aunt right now was the one who took care of me. I never got to know who my parents are." He said.
"While you on the other hand, you know them. Your family's dead but there's still people on you're back. You got a nice house, you're wealthy, and people who cares about you." He said and stopped the car in front of my house. He went out of the car and opened the door on my side.
"Let's go." He said. I rolled my eyes and went out of the car. I went inside my house. I heard him followed me.
"You can get out." I harshly said.
"No. Not until someone is here to look out for you . Call your guardian." He said.
"Look, I won't kill myself."
"Coming from someone who's about to jump off a building."
"I live alone." I said.
"Then find someone to live with you. Anyone. Your friends, cousins, uncle's..."

Then we heard the doorbell rang.
"Don't say anything." I said to Nick before going to the door and opening it. It was Ashton. He has a bag with him.
"Hey, Ash... W-what are you doing here?" I asked surprised.
"Came here for a sleepover... Why do you look like that?"
"I uh— watched a really sad movie. Come on in." I excused. He went in and saw Nick.

"He was just leaving. He came here for our group project." I said.
"Yeah, I was just leaving. Anyway, Scarlett I'll see you tomorrow." He said.
"Yeah." He went out.
"Okay..... Where am I gonna sleep?"
"You can take my brother's room." I said.
We slept around eleven because he was really talkative (in a good way) and we also watched a movie. The next day, Ashton left first. He was in third year college. Two years older than me. And we don't go to the same college.
I went to the school early today. As usual, I wore long sleeves. I went to the library and borrowed some books that I needed. I sat at a table where there's no people in the area.

I did some research about our project. After thirty minutes, I was done. All I have to do is arrange and organize it, put it in a folder and put some little decoration which I'm gonna do later tonight. Then we're done. We can pass it tomorrow.
I went to my math class. I saw Nick sitting at his chair looking at me...
