At school, it went pretty normal.
"I'm gonna take this call..." I said as my phone rang.
"I'll be right back." I went to the bathroom and answered the phone.

"Hello?"
"Scarlett?"
"Who is this?" I asked.
"It's Ness."
"Nessa?! God, it's been months! H-how you been?" I said.
"I've been doing great. I got your number from Griffin."
"That's grea— Wait, what?! You know Griffin?" I asked
"Yeah, I met him this summer. Apparently, Josh knows Kio since like... Forever.. And he got to know Griffin since Kio and Griff are always together." She explained.
"And who is this Josh?"
"My boyfriend. They all live together in one house with four other guys."

"Anyway, I didn't call to talk about that. I haven't see you for more than six months. I've missed you. So I was thinking of meeting up. Or like a sleepover like how we used to back in highschool."
"Sure. This weekend?" I suggested.
"Yeah. I'll just text you where we'll meet."
"Okay. I gotta go. I still have classes to attend to." And with that, I went to my next class.

At Physics, we were back to basic. Specifically, Matter.
"Did I ever mention to all of you that you have three projects this semester?"
"Three?! You're being too harsh on us, Mr. Black." The students started complaining.
"Quiet!" And with one word, the whole class fell silent.
"Now the first one was the project you made by four. The group that had the highest point we're Ms. Easterling and Ms. Valdez group. Today, I'll be giving you your new project. This time, by two's."
"Unlike your last project, you will all have the same topic to discuss. And that's 'What is Classical Mechanic?'... I'll be giving you a chance. The person who can answer that right now, he or She and it's partner will have an additional points. Anyone?" Mr. Black challenged us. Yet no one raised their hand. I cleared my throat and sighed.

They all turned to me when I raised my hand.
"Yes Ms. Scarlett?" They were surprised. Who wouldn't be when the girl that has stayed quiet in a corner for more than three months have decided to raise her hand and answer the question?

I stood up.
"Classical Mechanics is the study of the motion of bodies, including the special case in which bodies remain at rest, in accordance with the general principles first enunciated by Sir Isaac  Newton in his Philosophiae Naturalis Principia Mathematica, commonly known as the Principia." I explained.

"Very well said. Now class, I hope you listened to her very very well because I'm not going to repeat it. Ms. Scarlett, please stand up and choose your partner. And your partner has to your opposite sex." I stood up and cleared my throat once more before roaming my eyes around the classroom, searching for someone...

"Ms. Scarlett? Is there anyone you'd like to work with?"
"A-Austin..." I said when our eyes met.
"I choose Nick Austin Sir..."
"Very well. The rest of you, pick your partner and do it quietly. I'll be off." Mr. Black said before going away. It was finally dissmisal.

They all went to their picked partners. I picked my bag up and went outside.

"Where do you think you're going?" Nick asked as he walked by me.
"Home..."
"Did you forget that I'll be taking you home everyday already?" He said.
"Right..." Why did I agreed again?

"Anyway, were partners. Again." He stated happily as we walked to the parking lot.
"You know, my house takes thirty minutes drive from here. And from my house to you and others, it'll take about forty minutes. You're wasting seventy minutes of your time. Besides, I can take care of myself."
"Who said I'm wasting seventy minutes? I'll only waste about thirty-five minutes of my time." He said as we went inside his car. I looked at him confused.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"Didn't I tell you I only live about two streets away from you."
"You mean your not going home to the Hype House?"
"Yeah. I told them about it last night."
"Just today?" I asked as he started to drive.
"No, everyday."
"But why?"
"Oh, Scarlett..." He sighed.
"What?"
"Nothing..."
"So you're gonna live with your Aunt and nephew for the moment?" I asked.
"Not really... They go home once a week because of some reasons. So I have the whole house to myself." He said.

We talked about some random things until I got home.
"Are you hungry? Do you want to come over for dinner?" I asked.
"You want me to?" He chuckled.
"Well since your alone in your house, I thought you'd be lonely when you eat."
"Okay. I'd love to."
"Great." I said. We went out of the car and went inside my house.

"Scarlett." I looked at the living room and instantly froze when I saw Natalie.
"Nat... W-what are you doing here?" I asked surprised.
"Work went out early. Thought I'd visit you. And who is he?" She asked as she looked at Nick.
"My name's Nick Ms......?"
"Just call me Natalie." She smiled at Nick. He nodded.
"I didn't know you'd be bringing someone over. I saw your car outside. You didn't bring it."
"No I didn't. Nick offered me a ride." I said as I put my bag at the couch.
"I invited him over for a dinner. He lives two streets away from here and he lives alone. Nick you can put your bag here." I pointed at the couch. He did what I said.
"Okay. So since you're the one who invited him over, you're the one cooking. I wanna have a talk with him."
"Nat! Leave him alone." I said.
"It's okay Scarlett." Nick chuckled.
"Whatever." I said and went to the kitchen.

Nick's POV
"Well, I'm glad I found someone who's with her. I'm sure you noticed she's not much of a sociable person." Natalie laughed. I chuckled.
"So, was she with you last weekend?" She asked.
"Yes, with my other friends of course." I answered.
"That's good to hear. I heard she got sick."
"Yeah... I'm really sorry about that but I took care of her. I promise she's better now." I reassured her.
"Well, don't be sorry. It's practically her fault. She's going through a lot these past months. She doesn't take care of herself and I'm not always there for her."
"Don't worry Ms. Natalie. Me and her friends are here to take care of her."
"Thank you. And drop the honorifics. I want you to call me by my name only." I nodded at her.
"Anyway, why did I let her cook when I haven't even saw her hold a frying pan." She chuckled.
"Don't worry. Her cooking skills are great." I said.
"How'd you know?" She asked.
"She cooked us breakfast last Saturday. It was amazing." I said.

"Dinner's ready!!" We heard Scarlett yelled. Both Natalie and I went to the dining table. We all sat at a chair.
"This looks delicious. I've known you for more than six years and I still haven't even tasted something you cooked while Nick already did." Natalie said to Scarlett pouting.
"So besides your family, who was the first one to ever taste something you cooked?" Natalie asked. I smiled at the question.
"Nick. Now start eating." Scarlett said. Natalie just laughed it off before we also started to eat.
"So, is it your first time coming here inside?" Natalie asked me as we eat.
"No. It's actually my second time."
"Oh really? When was the first time you went here?"
"It was the first day of school." I honestly said.
"And what's the reason?"
"Well—"
"On my way home I almost hit his car. And you know how much that traumatized me after what happened and so I lost control and he took me home." Scarlett quickly said, cutting my words. I just nodded.
"Oh. I'm sorry." Natalie apologize.
"Yeah. It's okay." We talked a little bit more before we finally finished our food. I helped in cleaning the dishes even though they told me not to.
Then we all went to the living room and talked a bit more.

Around nine, I told them that Im gonna go home.
"Alright. Drive safe. I'll see you tomorrow. We'll also talk about the project tomorrow." Scarlett said standing up.
"Yeah. Natalie? It was nice meeting you." Nick said.
"You too. And if you ever want to date Scarlett, don't ask me for permission because I already approve of you." I smiled at Natalie and turned to Scarlett.
"Natalie!!"
"What?" I laughed.
"Thank you. I'll be going." I waved at them before I went inside the car and drove.

Scarlett's POV
"I like him." I heard Natalie said.
"Natalie...!"
"What? I mean he's nice, fun to be with and most especially handsome. And come on, don't tell me you don't like him. He's the first one to taste your food."
"Please stop..."  I said as I rolled my eyes and went inside.
"At least get a man like him.'
"Natalie, every man is different. You're basically saying that I should date him which is far from happening."
"Exactly!"
"I'm gonna go to bed."
