Both went to bed facing away from each other but woke up to Mew spooning Gulf. They spent their mornings and nights together. At times, they would spend their afternoons together, if both were free. Mew had also decided that Gulf is to stay with him for the time being. Because he has yet to love the younger man, it still means Gulf will continue throwing up bloodied red roses. Having Gulf in his condo will allow for Mew to take care of Gulf at the very least. He felt responsible for what he had put Gulf through.
Seeing Gulf vomiting bloodied red roses hurts Mew. As the days past, he could feel himself slowly letting go of his past and letting his guard down. He could feel himself letting Gulf in. Seeing Gulf walking around his condo, making himself at home tugged at his heartstrings. He felt at ease with Gulf's presence. He felt as if it was meant to be. With Gulf by his side, Mew begins to realize that his past experiences with love may not have been because of his wrongdoings. He realized that Gulf is not like him. He could feel himself falling for Gulf slowly, but surely.
