The silence in the car was deafening. No talking, no music, no nothing.
"Nong, we'll order Mac drive-thru na? Is that okay with you?" Gulf nodded. And that's when the car becomes filled with silence yet again.
"Nong, let's eat first then we'll talk, okay?" Again, Gulf only nodded. Gulf meekly ate his meal. Not even once did he lift his eyes to meet his Khun Phi sitting across of him. It's not that he didn't try to talk and meet his Khun Phi's eyes, he just couldn't. He felt embarrassed. He couldn't believe his outburst led to him spilling the truth. He realized he needs to control his temper more.
