Loving the Hell King

Chapter 25

I slowly started to regain my consciousness. But my head felt so heavy. I heard some whispering sound near my ears.

"She is opening her eyes." I heard someone telling but because of the heaviness on my head I couldn't recognize the voice.

As I tried to blink open my eyes I was hit by sharp light. I immediately closed my eyes again. Then I heard Sam's voice

"Evaline. Are you okay?"

I again tried to open my eyes and this time I suceeded. It took me some time to get adjusted to the light surrounding me. I guess it's already morning. When I looked around me I realized that I am lying in a unfamiliar room in a unfamiliar bed and Sam was hovering over me.

As soon as I saw him I started to remember everything from last night.

"You drugged me." I accused him.

"You first go and freshen up then we will talk about it." Sam told me.

He pointed me towards the bathroom.

"No, first you tell me why did you fucking kidnap me? " I shouted at him.

He just crossed his elbows and looked at me.

"You need to eat. Go and freshen up first." He said it again in a calm tone. His behaviour has started to frustrate me.

I thought it is better not to throw any trantrum and to listen to him. But I can't realize one thing that the house he has brought me into is not his. I have been to his house many times before. Then, where the hell did he bring me to?

I saw a pair of fresh clothes inside the bathroom so I washed myself and changed into that.

As soon as I came out I saw Sam waiting for me outside.

"Are you done?" Sam asked me.

I nodded in reply.

Somebody has already kept food over the small tea table and he directed me  to eat. But I declined.

"First you tell me what is going on? Why the hell am I here?" I asked him.

Just then Lucien entered inside the room.

"I will answer all your questions my dear." He smiled at me. But for the first time I realized what darkness really means.

When the first time I saw Troy I thought he was surrounded with some kind of dark aura. But now when I looked at Lucien I realized it was nothing compared to the dark aura Lucien is radiating from himself. I started to shiver.

"Dad. You are scaring her." Sam told his dad.

"Oh. I am sorry. I didn't mean to scare you my dear." He said reassuringly but right now I feel least bit reassured.

"So, you were asking that why are you here?" Lucien continued.

I nodded.

"Let me begin from the beginning. My real name is not Lucien. It's Lucifer." He gave a devilish smile and right then I realize why they call him as the Devil. My heart started to beat so fast I thought I might get a panic attack.

"And yes I am the actual Lucifer. You may prefer to call me as Saitan. Now coming to the actual point. I want you to marry Sam." He said.

I wanted to shout and scream at him but I guess I have lost my voice in fear. But I am more worried about Troy. Seeing Lucifer I have this feeling that he is much stronger than Troy and there is no way Troy can take him down. I don't even know how Troy's father was able to take him down in the first place.

"But why do you want me to marry Sam?" I asked him slowly.

"There are a lot many number of reasons. Initially when he came and told me that he wants to marry you  I was not okay with it. I don't want him to marry a weakling human like you. No offense dear. But when I came to know that you are Troy's mate then I changed my mind." He said.

"Why?" I asked him.

"It's very simple dear. After I defeat Troy it's not me who is going to sit on the throne. It will be my son Sam. And you know what shows actual power? When you defeat the current king and gets married to their queen. That is exactly what Sam is going to do. " He told me.

I looked at Sam and he looked unfazed. I still can't believe Sam is Lucifer's son. He is my best friend for God's sake. As far as I know him he was not even capable of hurting a fly. Then how?

Seeing me staring at Sam Lucifer again continued

"If you are wondering, Sam is half human. His mother is a mortal being. That is why you could never realize about his actual powers. Only after he turned 18 he started to show his true powers. That is why I send him off for training. Now, he is ready to claim what is actually his." He looked so proud.

I looked at Sam he was calmly standing there accessing my reaction.

"So, you never went to Germany?" I asked him.

He nodded his head to say No.

"So, I will take my leave. Sam will enlighten you further." He left me alone with Sam.

"How could you? You lied to me for all these years." I accused him.

"I have never lied to you." He shouted.

"I came to know everything after I turned 18. But it wasn't the correct time. I thought once you will become Mine O will say everything to you. But you have to go ahead and fall in love with that son of a traitor. He took away what his rightfully mine. He even took you away from me." He started to breathe heavily that is when I noticed his eyes has turned completely black.

"Sam. Calm down. This is not you. Lucifer is brainwashing you. I know you. You were never hungry for power. Then why?" I asked him.

"I guess you actually didn't know me." He smirked at me and that's when I realized that he is truly the son of Lucifer.

"Listen Sam, even if you kill Troy and marry me I will never ever love you. My heart will always belong to Troy. Do you understand?" I shouted at him.

"We will see about that. We are getting married tomorrow. I have work to do." He said and was about to leave.

"Troy will never let that happen." I said to him.

"He has to be alive for that." He said in a calm tone and left without further words.
