Loving the Hell King

Chapter 8

After I came down I saw both of them sitting in the table. This time I was able to find my way to the dinning hall. While Troy was busy glaring at Alexander , he was busy smirking. It seems they were discussing something before I entered that is why the tension in the hall. Anyway I took my seat far away from Troy which made him glare at me.

" There is a empty seat near me. You can seat here. No need to behave so hostile only because I crossed your so called wall and slept with you." It seems like he is emphasizing on the last sentence trying to make it sound as if we have slept together. I saw from the corner of my eyes that Alexander was looking at me with an amused expression. I have no intention of letting that arrogant jerk to insult me further by telling something else. So I came and sat near him.

Without further words all of us started eating.

" Troy. Aren't you coming with me and Alexander to show me around this place?"I asked him.

" I have some important things to take care of and I don't want you to get bored inside the palace. That is the only reason I am letting you out with this Idiot. And I wanted you to know this place because after all you are going to rule by my side. As much as I would love to take you out , I have to run this entire place ." He looked serious.

Queen? The word even sounds foreign to me. I even depend on small things to my parents and brother then how come he is expecting me to be the queen. Nature has a funny way of choosing mates. We are so much different from one another. There is no way I will tell him that.

After finishing the food Troy gave me a peck on the lips and teleported to god knows where. I was so busy blushing that I forgot that Alexander was there in the room.

" So, only you and me now. Where do you want to go first my lady?" He sounded so formal that it made me laugh.

" You know your character resembles exactly like my brother." I can't help but remember and how much I miss that idiot.

" Crap! Did you just place me in the brother zone? Oh my poor heart!" He put a hand on his chest and tried to console his heart which made me laugh.

" Oh come on don't be a baby now. You only told that we are gonna be best friends, and no one can be a better friend than a brother."

" I know Idiot . I was just kidding. You are also like my kid sister. Yesterday , I was only trying to rile him up to show you how much you mean to him. I knew he was gonna attack me and I was kinda prepared . Why do you think I wasn't hitting him back ?" He added with a wink. " Now enough of chitchat or else we will never be able to make it outside."

We came outside and everywhere it was dark. The outside of the palace looks so beautiful that I feel like I can spend my entire time there. Small lamp lit up the entire place .

" Is it dark here all the time ? Then how do you guys follow your routine everyday."

" We don't follow any specific time schedule how you humans follow in the earth. Since , you are habituated with your own timing Troy is trying to follow the same thing. But mostly he will be busy with his duties. I was surprised to hear that he actually slept. I can't remember the last time he slept. " I tried to register his words on my head. It seemed very sweet of Troy trying to adjust with my ways, but no don't make your heart melt by this. Don't forget he kidnapped you.

We came out and I saw the same valleys which I saw yesterday. " Who lives in those cottages?"

" The demons and their family lives there and can you see the river passing near those valleys? That is the river which you guys read on books. At the end of that river the ferryman awaits and he carries the soul to hell.

I was actually surprised to find that demons have families here. " But nowhere I can see fire or screaming and where do you punish the soul?"

Alexander looked at me laughed.

" You guys are still stuck in the age old conception that hell means pain , fire torture. But that was during Lucifer's time. When he was overthrown everything changed. Demons now live a much more dignified life and as for the punishment it was another part of the hell. Like you guys have prison on Earth , similarly we also have punishment house where they are punished. That doesn't mean the entire hell will be like that. And nowadays the punishment is also not that severe. After all I am the incharge there." He stated proudly.

" What ? You are the one who decides their punishment? Then what are you doing here now with me ? Don't you have any work to do ?"

" Yup! I have but I like to let the souls wait. It is kind of torture for them. Standing there and imagining all sorts of horrible things that might be coming to them, instead they don't get such severe punishment. You know I have a very kind heart. That is why all the demons love me ."

In order to prove his words I saw two girls passing near us looking at Alexander with longing eyes and were giggling to each other. " See , I told you." He winked at me.

" Are they demons?" I asked him.

" Who ? Those girls who passed by ? Yes. Everyone here is mostly demons. Although you will find few werewolves or vampires or some other creatures whose mates are demons .They are also staying here. But mostly it will be demons. But if you go near the other part it will mostly be human souls. "He seemed to be a very good tour guide.

" Can I ask you something?" Something was bugging me from yesterday . I don't know whether I should I ask him or not but he seems to be a nice person and I wanted to trust him.

" Yes . Tell me."

" Promise me you won't tell Troy that I have asked you about this."

" Now , you are scaring me. Okay fine I won't tell."

" Yesterday , during dinner time you told that Troy has been talking about me for a long time. I thought the first time he saw me was yesterday ." He started to laugh.

" No that idiot saw you a year back. He has been stalking you from that time. I am surprised that you never saw him. You don't even know how many times he have visited you in your bedroom at night. We used to tease him calling him as pervert. I told him to bring you here a long time back. He used to be grumpy every time he has to come here after spending time on Earth. But he was the one always telling that he don't want to take you away from your parents that soon. But I think both his vampire and demon side went out of control after speaking with you that day. That is why he suddenly took you without telling any of us." His words surprised me . I never expected this side of Troy to exist. If he wanted he could have brought me here long time back but he didn't do that. I don't think I will hate him that much after this.

" Do you want to see where I work , the punishment house?" He looked excited. But I turned pale.

" No, I don't think it is a good idea. " He looked sad and for a second I thought of going but I know if I go it will scar me for life. I think he understood me that is why he didn't force me.

" Where do Troy go? "

"He is somewhere in the palace . Probably in his studies doing his job. Why? Are you missing him or I am a boring company."

" Shut up . You know you are not. I was just curious. Anyway where else do you want to take me? " I have no intention of going further. Instead I wanted to roam in the palace . It looked more interesting than outside.

" You missed the fun house. But anyway I will take you back to palace. You seem to be missing your king a lot . And I don't know since you are away this much time your king probably has gone totally into Alpha male mode and I don't want to face his wrath. "

We walked back to the palace while I was busy telling him about the incidents back in my school and was busy laughing among us. What we didn't expect was a very angry Troy standing in front of the palace door murderously glaring at us.
