Without any words he took my hands and started dragging me inside the palace .

" Dude. I am also here and you didn't feel like acknowledging me because of her. Now I am hurt. This is what happens when one of the best friend get committed before other. "

" Fuck off. Do you know how late you are? Atleast a lakh souls are waiting outside the punishment hall for you. "

" Shit. Are you serious? Why this mortals keep on dying all the time. I can't even take a proper break. Someday I am gonna resign my job and go for a tour in the realms. " he looked hopeful.

" You keep on visiting earth all the time. How much break do you need? You know since you are my friend you get all the privilege but I should make you work more hard. And don't think about resigning . Did you forget the contract you signed and it is valid till the next five century."he told with a smirk.

" I hate you , there is no way you can be my best friend. From today onwards I don't know you. Your mate is far more better than you and from today she is officialy my best friend." he pouted like a child. I feel like I am witnessing the fight of two overgrown child. Seriously ? Are they really demons ? And Troy looked so chilled out with Alexander then why is he always trying to intimidate me all the time?I feel like I don't know him at all.

" Bye Eva. See you soon when I will get free time from this over burdening work." He left swearing under his breath.

As soon as he left Troy continued his process of dragging me." Do you know I am human and I can actually walk on my two feet then why are you dragging me ?"I looked at him angrily. But the thing which he did next left me surprised. He lifted me and threw me in his shoulder and started walking in caveman style.

" You should be happy that I still didn't mark you. My demon side is totally out of control and you should watch your mouth. What were you doing with him for so long outside. Anything could have happened to you. Do you have any idea how tensed I was ." He literally growled.

" You are the one who send me with him in the first place telling you have work . And for your kind information he was more like a brother to me so no need to show your alpha  male mode." I told him while still trying to get down from his back because I could sense that he was shamelessly staring at my ass.

" Ohh." It seemed that he became much calmer after hearing my confessions. " That mean you missed me? " He added cockily. I internally groaned. Him and his oversized male ego, what am I gonna do with him ?

" No. When did I say so." I snapped at him. " By the way where are you taking me?" It seemed like we are in the other part of the wing.

" To my study. I am working there and I want you with me or my demon will take control. "his eyes are totally dark which is not good.

We reached his study which seemed to be fill only with old papers and huge volumes of book.

" Are those books ? Doesn't look like that. They are so huge." I asked wondering.

" Those are not books but all the contracts that humans has made with demons and when the time comes I send my men to fetch their souls for me." He said.

" What? You are so cruel , how can you simply go and collect souls just like that." His words creeped me out.

"Sweetheart , that is how the hell works and this is one way of maintaining balance. You would be surprised that most of the mortals are so greedy that they mostly make deals for their own selfish reasons."

"What if you don't take their souls?" I asked him.

"The entire universe works on a balancing way and I just play my part in maintaining that balance. There is always a higher authority over the other and it is kind of an endless process. " He stated and I was trying to grasp what he told me.

" Hmm.. Do you have anything interesting in your study other than those boring contracts ?" I asked him.

" No. I guess . What exactly do you want then I can get it for you?" He asked me.

" Leave it. I am still very tired and I want to sleep." I saw a couch in the room and laid there thinking about all the things happening to me. My life has become the episodes of a daily soap opera and it is no longer the same. I miss my parents a lot but I don't think he will let me go. I turned to see what he was doing but surprised to see him staring at me. I didn't realize that while lying down my top has risen up showing my perfect flat stomach and that pervert was shamelessly oggling at it. Seriously? I quickly pulled my top down and saw him smirking.

" You know someday I am gonna see every bit of you and you can't do anything about it. After all you belong to me. Each and everything of you belongs to me." With every words he started stalking towards me but instead of running I sat there blushing at each and every word of his. I was so busy blushing that when I looked up I saw his face few inches from me. Oh shit! Is he gonna kiss me? His last kiss had such huge effect on me I don't know what will happen if he kiss me again. But instead of kissing me he brought his face near my ears and told

" Don't worry , I am not gonna kiss you , until you ask me to do so and I am definitely sure you will soon ask for it. It is a challenge." I was totally shocked. I was totally turned on few seconds back and I would have probably said nothing if he had kissed me but his words were just like a splash of water. How dare he?

"In your dreams. I will never ask you to kiss me even if you are the last human male in this earth. Sorry I forgot you are not even a human ." I added with a smirk but he didn't seem affected by my insult.

" We will see" and he returned back to his place to work. I fell asleep after some time.

The next time I woke up I found myself lying in a very soft bed and someone is running their hands through my hair. For a moment I thought it was my mom and try to find her lap so that I can lay there but when I opened my eyes to see I saw dark eyes staring at me. I woke up with a jolt remembering where I was.
The last time I remembered I was sleeping in the couch then how did I end up here. You were about to fell from the couch so I brought you here. He told me seeing the confusion written in my face.

But something is off about him and I exactly can't place what is it. He kind of look guilty.

" Is something wrong? Do you want to tell something?"

"One of my men informed me that after your mom heard that you have been kidnapped from the house she fell ill and is admitted to the hospital and is under critical condition."

His each words was like a sharp sword cutting through me and I feel like someone is cutting me piece by piece. Mom in the hospital. Critical condition. Because of me. I felt as if the ground is moving away from my feet and suddenly dark stars appeared on my visions turning everything black.

Sorry for the late update guys. My exams finally got over. So what do you think will he take her back to earth or will still keep her in hell inspite of her conditions.
