15) Kiriwo the traitor

3rd POV

An sudden earthquake has been shocking the entire school. When it is all over has some students notice the invisible walls, which apparently cover the hole school.  Zoey has used her ribbons to feel around, and she feel invisible walls everywhere. 

''It  is a giant wall-like barrier...'' Mumble Alice and study the wall between him and Iruma. He then look at Clara behind him who seems to feel something. ''Is there a wall there, as well?''

''Nope.'' Admit Clara stupid, annoying not only Alice, but Zoey too.

''Stop making things even more confusing.'' Argued Alice angrily. Iruma thought for a second and remember something.

''Hey, this barrier... Isn't this Kiriwo-senpai's?'' Ask Iruma, more likely to himself. Alice try destroying it with his fire and Clara try rolling through it, can't they break it.

''That teal haired boy I saw when I angered out on you?'' Ask Zoey and remember that unknown third year she saw when she yelled at Iruma. Before Iruma could answer, rawr the 'bell' to get everyone's attention. 

''Hello, students. Can you hear me?'' It is the brown haired teacher Dali-sensei. ''Were you surprised? Have no fear. This is a surprise even constructed by the New Magic Battler and the Game Battler.'' Zoey facepalm of that lie. ''The whole school is a maze. Avoid and get past the invisible walls, and head towards the goal... The goal is the central plaza. We even have prizes for the winners. Look forward to them. Move fast, everyone.''

''I see.'' Mumble Zoey and get the three friends attention. ''They are trying to keep everyone from getting scared and panic, so they lied about the situation as to not ruin the day.'' 

''That is probably the teachers work.'' Pointed Alice out, also understanding the situation.

''And if this Kiriwo-senpai has the ability to make barriers, do I think he has planned to make this maze of barriers and make the students meet up somewhere. Maybe the central plaza. Is he really that friendly to do something like that?'' Admit Zoey sadly. Iruma frowned, but then got serious. 

''We have to find him.'' Says Iruma serious. Alice and Clara nodded and start thinking for a plan. ''Azz-kun, Zoey-kun, Clara. There is one place where I think Senpai might be. There is no guarantee I will be able to get through the maze and get there, but I am worried about Senpai, so I want you guys to help me get to the third year tower. Could you?''

''The third year tower?'' Ask Zoey confused as to why he want to go there and not their Battler room.

''But of course.'' Says Alice proud and willing to help. ''Valac, prepare a giant piece of paper and a pen.''

''You got it.'' Says Clara and willingly pull out the paper and pen from her smiley pockets. Alice draw a perfect map of the third year in no time.

''You actually remembered all that?'' Ask Iruma impressed that he know that.

''Yes. It was tight on the prospectus for the school, so I made sure to memorize it. Though I doubt Valac has even seen the school's prospectus.'' Explained Alice and look at Clara, which agreed she doesn't. ''If we can figure out where the barriers are on this map, you should be able to get to your goal smoothly. However... The problem would be our numbers.I think it will prove rather difficult to find all the barriers ourselves. If only we could control frogs, like Momonoki-sensei...''

''Or have magical paper dolls.'' Interrupted Zoey.

''I got some of those. I got soldiers.'' Says Clara and pulled out magical paper dolls.

''Soldiers?'' Ask Iruma confused.

''The ones that were in the MagiApp room.'' Remembered Clara.

''And a Valac can create anything they have seen before.'' Piped Zoey and then look at Alice. ''Use your fire Alice, to make the paper dolls move and find all the barriers to help Iruma and I towards Kiriwo.'' Alice nodded and gave the dolls magic to move and send them out to find all the barriers. Iruma use his phone to call Alice and run along with Zoey towards the third year tower. Zoey use her ribbons to feel some extra to avoid some surprise barriers. 

''The path in front of science room... Right in front of the first year's cafeteria... The hallway in front of the student council room... You can take the north stairs. Try follow the left wall as much as possible. And on the next set of stairs, the right wall.'' Instructed Alice as Iruma and Zoey run down the hallways. A ribbon move at the front and feel a wall, but right beside it is there a opening. The two turn around and continue up the stairs. ''Next, go right and then straight. There is a gap on the right side. Stay close to the right, and then turn left. Next, turn right and go straight. Straight, but stay to the right. You are almost to the third year's tower.'' As the two run through all the hallways and never hit a maze, following Alice's instruction, do they arrive at their destination faster than expected. 

''I am going to find Kiriwo-senpai, no matter what.'' Mumble Iruma and speed up. Not long stopped Iruma and Zoey in front of a wall, catching their breath.

''Iruma-chi?'' Ask Clara through the phone. 

''Yeah.'' Agreed Iruma. He ended the phone call and press some specific bricks and open a secret door. At the other side is Kiriwo standing in front of his dear machine with the firework shell atop of it, glowing brightly.

''Hello there. Welcome, Iruma-kun.'' Greeted Kiriwo super happily. 

''Kiriwo-senpai? Why are you... Where are your glasses? What are you...'' Ask Iruma over and over.

''Well, it's a party, so I thought I would go all out.'' Answer Kiriwo simple.

''There are barriers all over the school. That is your magic, isn't it, Senpai?'' Ask Iruma to be sure that his teori is right. He then notice the machine lighting up, so Kiriwo let them in. The shell is glowing dangerously bright. 

''What are you planning to do with that shell?'' Ask Zoey protective of not just Iruma, but the hole school. 

''I am going to make it explode so I can destroy the school.'' With one, flew Zoey's ribbons at Kiriwo, but he made a barrier around him to avoid being captured. ''As expected from a Madeline, or should I say, from the reason the Madeline family extinctions. Isn't that right, Zoey Madeline?'' Ask Kiriwo which make Zoey flinch.

''Extinct? What does he mean, Zoey-kun?'' Ask Iruma confused and scared as he look at Zoey.

''You don't know? That is bad since you live with her.'' Says Kiriwo.

''Don't you dare say a thing. It is forbidden.'' Treated Zoey as her ribbons cover around the barrier and try press it enough to break it. 

''These ribbons you see here, Iruma-kun.'' Start Kiriwo, which just make the ribbons tight up and the gem turn deadly orange. They are almost red. ''Are the reason Zoey's family is dead. She used her ribbons to kill her family, everyone, until she remain the last.''

''That is not true.'' Defended Zoey angrily.

''Maybe or maybe not. Not the hole story has been know other that they suddenly died in one dy, and since you are the only survivor and have these ribbons that doesn't belong to your family, can I only presume that is the story.'' Proclaim Kiriwo smart and love the sight of Zoey as she conflict with her self. 

''Iruma, please, don't believe him. That is not the story how my family died and I got adopted by Opera. I will tell you one day, so please focus on the main point here.'' Begged Zoey. Iruma nodded and let it go.
