9) Demon dodge-ball

3rd POV

It took some days for Zoey to get better and at the last day, came the special doctor to them and checked up on Zoey. Sullivan was also with her at that time, to hear the news.

''I am sorry to say, Zoey-san, but it seems you are getting more and more human than demon. I would recommend start washing with my speciel made demon parfume, to cover up the upcoming human sense.'' Advise the doctor. Zoey is sitting up in her bed, feeling much better, but still didn't like the news.

''Understood. Thanks doctor.'' The doctor gets dismissed and leave the three alone. After a short silent, speak Zoey up. ''Will I return back to homeschooling?''

''No, no, Zoey-chan. We are just gonna be careful. Only the four of us know your family's biggest secret, and that will stay like that. Getting you out of the school will only make questions.'' Says Sullivan and wave it off. Zoey nodded and calm down a little.

''Well, you lost a lot of lessons, so I will quickly tell you it.'' Says Opera and give Zoey her text books. Zoey nodded and smile again like usual. After that, did she get outside to watch Iruma training. Apparently he is training for the upcoming demon dodge-ball exam, and Opera is his trainer. 

''Oh, Zo-Zo-chi. Are you feeling better? Want some candy? Or some snack?'' Ask Clara fast and questioning the poor girl.

''Valac, stop it. She just got over her fever.'' Shouted Alice and pull Clara away. Zoey just smiled. She has missed that. She then look over at Iruma to watch him train.

''Tomorrow is the promotion exam. There is no more time.'' Says Opera and start trowing some balls. Iruma try to catch them, but his refleks make him dodge them. ''Look at this, Iruma-sama.'' Iruma look at Opera, who trow a ball at Zoey. Iruma thought Zoey's ribbons would catch it, but Zoey got it herself. Without standing right, did she look at the ball and catch it in the front of her chest. ''That is how you are supposed to catch them.'' Iruma take a deep breath.

''Another one, please.'' Called Iruma, ready.

''Here I go.'' Says Opera and trow more balls. Iruma lower his body and focus, but his refleks took over. ''Keep your eyes on the ball.'' Iruma open his eyes and focus on the ball. As it came closer, lift Iruma his arms and in a blink of an eye, did he catch it.

''I caught it.'' Yelled Iruma nd show the ball. Clara and Alice praise Iruma for catching the ball.

''Let us continue before you forget that feeling.'' Pointed Opera out. Iruma nodded and ask Alice and Clara to join him. Zoey smile at that an excuse herself to get some more rest.

*Time skip*

Now is it time for execution cannonball. Everyone in the Misfit class is at the game ground, ready to play the game. Kalego-sensei has explain the rules of the games and given up the teams. Zoey and Iruma is in the same team. (Zoey takes the curse dolls place)

''Uhm, Zoey-kun. Are you able to play today?'' Ask Iruma concern. Zoey look at him and nodded.

''Yup. Just give me a second.'' Says Zoey and start rubbing her ribbons on her arm. Iruma look confused at her. ''Can you all let go, just this once. I promise to put you on again when this is over.''

''Zoey-kun has lost her mind.'' Thought Iruma sad for her. The blue gem turned white and the ribbons detract from her upper arm and leg to the main bows. The four bows feel off of their places and to the ground, then Zoey pick it all up.

''Now I am ready to play fair and square.'' Cheered Zoey and walk over to Kalego-sensei and give him the bows.

''You are able to take off the ribbons?'' Ask Iruma surprised.
