O, my friends! I don't want to die,

But I fear I'm already dead inside.

I have seen Death's grim face before,

Yet I don't fear his fatal door.

O, my friends! Please don't forget me,

Yet I fear I must soon leave.

I have the chance to free my soul,

But I don't dare wish to leave this hole.

O, my friends! At last, it is time to leave the past,

But I fear that my heart is made of glass.

I have awaited this fateful day,

Yet my mind has baited me away.

O, my friends! Do not fret!

For I now must repay my debt!
