Chapter 8

Kai's p.o.v

A month as gone by, and it's the best one in a long time. Hell, we look forward to the mornings now that Lloyd is back. Sitting in the dojo, I'm teaching my class the art of the silent fist.

Lloyd watches from the door, Garmadon stands on one side of the room. I face hem, we charge. I get a strike, but Garmadon sidesteps. He grabs my arm and I'm flipped over hem, he locks my arm behind me. The students stare in awe as I get up.

Lloyd's p.o.v

Leaving the room, I go for a walk. Coming to the park, I sit on a bench. "Back for a month and your feeling lonely." I hear. Looking, I hear "up here, greenie." Looking up, I jump back seeing Morro.

He floats down, chuckling as he sits on the bench. He pats the space beside hem and I sit. "I know how you feel. A ghost for fifty years, it gets old. To be hated at, scared of. Hell even the ninja...." He stops ranting when I take hold of his hand

"Your misunderstood, that's all. The ninja are old of my league, if you catch my drift. The only one who comes close to my age is Kailina and she's my niece. I'd love to have a friend like you. It's not what's on the outside but the inside that counts." I get up.

Offering a hand, he takes it. "Come on, I knowyou've done wrong, but, the past is the past." I say. "And the future is the future." Morro said, he pulls me into a hug. "I'm sorry for possessing you all those years ago. Can ya ever forgive me." Morro asks.

I smile, pull hem into a tighter hug and say. "I already have." We pull apart and head to the monastery.

To say the ninja were happy is an understatement. Kai holds a deepsea bo staff, I get infront of Morro. "Lloyd, move." Kai orders.

I hold my ground, not backing down. "Lloyd, move so I can send...." "You send hem, you send me. Morro's my friend. And, you will respect that." I growl.

Kai takes a step, dad grabs his arm. Kai looks at hem, dad gives a look. "Look around Kai. Lloyd has no one..." "He has us.." Kai interrupts.

Dad shakes his head "Yes, he has us. But, we're all old. I'm pushing two thousand and y'all are pushing seventy. It'll be good for Lloyd to have a friend his age, even if Morro is a ghost, he and Lloyd are the same age."

Kai looks at us all, I don't budge. Kai sighs, his shoulder slump. "Your right. I'm sorry Morro. Your more than welcomed to stay." Kai says.

Me and Morro cheer, happy to have a friend. The rest of the day is spent having fun. Later, I'm laying on the bed, Morro infront. He looks bashful. "What is it." I ask.

"Can I..can I try something." He asks. I sit up, he comes in close. Hands rest on both sides of my hips. I look at hem as Morro leans down......
