2007 Tonis House:Toni-
I pace in my kitchen nervously as I wait for Janet to arrive. I hear the boys upstairs playing in their play room ready to come down when I call them. The doorbell rings making me jump. "Calm down Toni" I say to myself before taking a deep breathe and making my way to the door. I open it to see Janet standing there looking down at her shoes before she notices I'm there. She looks up at me with a beautiful smile making me melt, "hey" she says quietly.

"Hey" I say back nervously. We stand there looking at each other and I almost feel like it is our first date. "Um come in please, you look beautiful" I say as I step aside and she blushes. "Thank you, you look gorgeous" she says walking into the living room. "Thank you" I say as we sit down on my couch, close but still too far from each other. "Janet I wanted to start off by saying, I love you so much baby. And I'm sorry if I ever made you feel like I didn't" I say and she tries to interrupt me but I don't allow it. "No baby please let me say this. I love you, and you was right I was holding some part of me back and I'm sorry for that. I have being doing it for so long it just comes naturally. But I want to share everything with you, all of me including my babies. I am in this relationship one hundred percent baby and rather we go public or stay private forever I will always be here with you" I say.

We stare each other deeply in the eyes as I finish and I feel the love bursting between us. "I'm sorry I snapped about the Keri situation it wasn't my place"- she says but I stop her. "Baby it is always your place if something makes you uncomfortable, and I came to the conclusion that Keri and me can co parent from a distance just as easily as doing it near each other so the trip to Hawaii is canceled, on my part" I say reaching out to grab her hand and she squeezes mines back. "Thank you for that baby. I love you so much" she says leaning in to me and I copy her, "I love you more" I say. "Impossible" she says before taking my lips with hers.

Even though I'm sure it has only been some hours before we kissed I feel like it's been forever. Our kiss is sweet and innocent setting the mood for the night. She pulls back after a few minutes with a smile. "Also if you think we should wait before you introduce me to the boys I am fine with that" she says making me smile. "That's unfortunate because I got two little boys who are pretty excited to meet you" I say making her eyes grow wide. "Denim, Diezel come downstairs!" I call out and I hear the pitter patter of small feet hitting the ground.

"We has a talk earlier and they know all about mommy's friend, and said they are ready to meet you so who was I to hold y'all back any longer, this is the biggest piece of myself that I want to give to you" I say as tears well up in her eyes. We stand up as we hear them get closer to the room and I see her tugging her ear nervously so I grab her hand in mines, "they are going to love you Janet, just like I do" I say making her smile.

The first one to walk in is Diezel who is holding his favorite toy car, and then Denim walks in with his hands in his little jean pockets. Come here babies I say kneeling down and holding out my arms and they walk into them cuddling close to me. "Remember what we talked about earlier, about y'all meeting mommy's friend?" I ask and they both nod shyly and I know they are peeking over at Janet who is waiting for the perfect time to come over.

"Well she is standing right over there and I know she would really like to meet you two, is that okay with y'all?" I ask looking at them directly in the eyes to make sure they are fine. "Is she nice?" Diezel asks and I nod, "the nicest person you will ever meet" I say to him. "Do she like basketball?" Denim asks and I look over at Janet who is smiling. "How about you ask her, Janet comes here please"  I say and she comes and kneels beside us so she is the same height as the boys.

"Hello it's nice to meet you both" she says holding out a hand to each of them to take. Diezel looks at her like he is sizing her up before smiling shyly and taking her hand. Denim looks at me for confirmation and I wink at him and nod before he slowly takes her hand. Soon all three are sitting down on the floor together as Janet keeps them entertained and laughing and I just stand there looking at them knowing everything will be alright...

Present Time-
"Janet Damita Jo Jackson! Diezel Ky Braxton! And Denim Cole Braxton! If y'all don't stop running through my house I know something!" I shout as the sound of laughter and foot stomping sounds throughout the house. The boys just got back home this morning and all three of them have been playing some type of interactive game on the internet, Zombie Kill Thrill or some mess.

"But Toni the big one is still on the loose!" Janet whines like a child making me roll my eyes. She is so adorable sometimes. "Damita I'm about to cut you loose if you don't pack this mess up, come on we got to go to the restaurant to meet everyone for dinner soon and y'all still haven't gotten ready" I say as she comes into the kitchen in her 'battle gear'.

I laugh as I walk up to her and take off her mask and take away the fake arrow gun from her hand. "You are such a child" I say as she pouts. "See now you just killed my character" she huffs making me laugh. "Good now go get ready" I say making her smack her lips together. "Fine come on let's go" she says grabbing my hand. "No ma'am I am already dressed and the only thing that will happen if I go upstairs with you is we will be later then we already are going to be" I say shaking my head.

She looks me over before shaking her head, "see cause no, if you don't put a shirt on underneath this matter of fact" she reaches to start buttoning up my buttons playfully making me laugh and I slap her hands away. "Stop playing" I say and she rolls her eyes, "alright but if anything pop out tonight I'm popping off, unless it's when we are in bed tonight" she says before smacking my ass and turning to go upstairs. I chuckle before going to get the boys so they can get ready also and I start to wonder if maybe I should put on an undershirt because Janet don't be lying when she says she will pop off...
