Janet- I lay in bed waiting for Toni to come join me but she have to do a whole face washing ritual before she gets in bed. "Toni hurry up it don't take an hour to wash your face!" I yell playfully. She peeks her head out of the bathroom door and glare at me menacingly. "Don't start with me Damita considering it takes you two hours to get dressed" she says before turning off the bathroom light and walking to the bed. "That's because I got to look fly shawty yah mean?" I say in my best thug voice. She pauses and looks at me before we both burst into laughter.
"You are so silly" she says as she turns off the bedroom light leaving just the candles in our room. "You love it" I say as she crawls into the bed and cuddle up close to my side, her head on my chest and a leg thrown over mines. "Your right I do" she says. I kiss the top of her head and nestle my face on top of her head as I rub slow, soothing circles on her back. The soft sound of Jill Scott fills the room around us setting a sensual mood for the night.
"You sleepy baby?" I ask as she practically purrs from the intimacy of the moment. "To tell you the truth baby I don't know if I'm horny, sleepy, or feel like talking the night away" she says making me giggle. "You remember when we first met?" I ask and she peeks up at me, "you must feel like talking the night away?" She says sarcastically and I smack her on her silk clad ass lightly making her laugh. "Be nice" I say with a teasing glare. She giggles before nestling back into me. "Anyways as I was saying before I was rudely interrupted..."
1997 Clive Davis House Party: Janet- I walk into the packed party with my best friend Gil and Lana aka MC Lyte. "Yo this shit is bouncing J!" Lana says over the loud music. "I agree I haven't even touched a drink yet and I feel like I'm drunk" Gil says as he moves lightly to the beat of the music. We both laugh at him, "I think that means you are an alcoholic" I say making them laugh.

"Girl I don't know all I know is I need to find me a man while we here because I will not be one of those lonely ass hoes for Halloween" Gil says. "I'm saying fuck a trick, I need me a treat" Lana says making us laugh louder. We head into the kitchen greeting people as we walk past but the ultimate goal was to get some food because we was starving. "These chicken wings look mighty delicious" Gil says as we all look over the food. "Leave some for the rest of these people fatness" Lana says pushing him out the way. I swear these two are always fighting.
