First Date

Buck

He picked you up at your place. He hadn't told you what he had planned, just kept saying it was a surprise.

He took you to a diner since you had told him before randomly that you liked diners, you thought they were cute. You ate and got to talk and know each other on a level other than friends.

After dinner, he took you to the botanical gardens to have a quiet place to walk, talk and explore something in nature. He eventually slowly reached for your hand and a smile crept on your face as he laced his fingers with yours.

You walked for a while before stopping in an area you thought was particularly beautiful. He wrapped his arms around your shoulders from behind as you leaned your head back against his chest and your hands reached up to grab his arms.

"Thank you for bringing me here, it's beautiful" you said not looking away from the sight.

"Thank you for coming out with me tonight, you're beautiful" he gripped you a little tighter a blush rising to your cheeks.

Eddie

You met him at the park on the same bench you met at. He smiled brightly when he first spotted you and your stomach did a little flip.

He put together a picnic for the two of you and since it was a beautiful day you spent most of the day outside. You got to talk about things you couldn't talk about when the kids were around.

You had just bought ice cream when he spoke almost nervously.

"I was terrified to ask you out" he said seriously.

"What? Why?" You laughed.

"I was scared this might have just been a thing to keep the kids happy since they seem to be good friends and...I don't know" he trailed off.

"Hey" you said bringing his attention back to you "I've never babysat so much in my life, because I wanted to keep spending time with you"

He reached out and grabbed your hand pulling you closer to him and into a hug.

Bobby

When you pulled back up to the station, Bobby was already outside waiting. You waved him to get into your car and he got in with a wide smile on his face.

"Are you in the mood for Italian?" He asked lightly grabbing your hand.

"Sounds delicious" you smiled, you knew it wouldn't matter where or what you ate as long as you were together.

You both laughed and talked through your meal and before you knew it, it was getting late. You dropped him back off at the station to get his car and he asked you out for the weekend.

Chimney

You settled into the seat in the theater trying to get comfortable before the movie started. You had carefully picked a horror movie hoping for some closeness.

As the lights dimmed you felt him reach his arm around your shoulders. Happy at the contact you leaned a little more into him and laid your head on his shoulder.

The movie was decent and it felt nice just to be together. He dropped you off at your house and you made plans to see him the next day.
