Angeal pov
I was walking with genesis just checking around the area to make sure the town we were on a mission on was safe. Genesis was reading his loveless book.
"Well everything looks clear. We should head-" I stopped when I heard a roar and genesis stopped too. We took our weapons out and started off to where the noise was.
Once we got there we saw a lion/dragon monster carrying a girl in its claws.
'Damn it. I have to make a plan on getting the girl away from that thing and fast.'
I looked over at genesis and he nodded. He knew what we had to do.
~~~~~small battle later~~~~~
"She doesn't look like she belongs to this town Angeal. But then again we can't leave her here." Genesis said while wrapping her leg where she had a wound. I nodded agreeing with him. Then I saw her necklace, it was slightly glowing.
'Is this meko?'
I felt some energy come from it. We need to take her with us. I picked her up and genesis called our ride back to headquarters.
