The last few days have been different now that me and genesis had started to date in secret. Today was one of my days off work and relaxing. Been cleaning up my apartment and organizing everything for when I do go back to work. Sometimes genesis would visit when he wasn't busy or when he wanted to ditch work. Angeal would sometimes keep me company once in a while and talk about training new soldiers and how that one soldier stood out from them and he'll go under his wing soon. I knew it was zack the puppy, I wonder how he's gonna react to me calling him by his nickname.
I have been trying to control my blood powers, so far I haven't lost control, I've been doing better with sephiroth helping me and trying to get me to get full control of my powers but still nothing. Plus I still haven't got my sword back, maybe they were tuning or fixing it, I heard it was damaged in the fight. Maybe when I wasn't control over, it was because genesis was about to die and all I remember is black. Hearing my phone ring, I stopped putting the living room together and answered.
"Hello?" I asked.
"Hello ____? It's lizard. I know it's your day off but I need you to come to my office, as soon as you can." He said and I wasn't expecting a call from him personally.
"Y-yes sir I'll be there in 15 minutes." I said and heard him confirm my answer and hung up.
Wonder what was going on now. I put on a clean shirt red, and out my boots on, making sure I grab my keys before locking the door and running towards the shinra building. Looking around before using some of my powers to run on the sides and top of building to make it there faster. It's so cool having powers in this world, I'm still not use to it.
Landing right in front of the doors of the building, taking out my id to get in and got on the elevator to lizards office. After they lizard had given me his talk about what the 4 of them had thought about me fighting against sephiroth. I couldn't let him know more about my blood or something bad will happen so I agreed to the fight until he handed me my sword. I didn't want to touch it, I remember all that old blood on there even though it was brand new right in front of me. That fear of losing control but then I think about sephiroth becoming a villain later in the game. So I have to do this, to try to change the outcome of the ending.
Before we left to do the fight, it would be cool to become the first female solider but then again I don't want to lose control of my powers. Staring down at my sword in my hands, until I felt a hand on my shoulder, looking up I saw angeal.
"Don't worry you'll do fine. Remember you can control it because it's a part of you and you can make it do your will." He said and trying to encourage me, I nodded and strapped my sword to my back. We all started to head out.
Sephiroth kept playing with me and making me more angry each time we land a blow or sent me flying in the air from an attack. I'll admit I was taking a beating from him but I know he was holding back a bit and the great sephiroth never holds back. I focused my energy to my hands, using it to power up my punches and I made the ground crumbled under us, I grinned and yelled at sephiroth to great ready for a good fight. I even took off my weight from my feet, to increase my speed like rock lee. I made my eyes turn red, using more of my powers to help out. My punches sounded like, an electric explosion had happen near their ears and the sounds waved off. Causing stuff to fly around in the air and both blocking and attack going on. One moment we were fighting hand to hand combat until he drew his sword, not letting me think before acting. I didn't touch my sword and I got hit with a powerful punch to my stomach and flew backwards.
Coughing up blood from the punch and trying to steady my breathing, he's not gonna give me a choice in using my sword. Maybe if I just use it as a defense and not use my blood I think I should be ok. Taking a deep breath, taking my sword off my back and blocked sephiroths attack before he could land a blow. Smirking knowing my other powers are helping me with this and I could feel the inside of my stomach healing very quickly.

Sephiroth pov

Leaning on the wall of lizards office, while he sat at his desk, genesis and angeal were also here. Today we are going to discuss about what to do with ____ and the plan on making her the first female solider. Considering me informing them about her progress with her combat and fighting training. I had her sword fixed and it was place in front of us. Once covered in blood now clean as if it was never used in the first place.
Knocking came from the door, lizard said to let her in, the look on her face was shock to see all of us there. I had a feeling this was gonna take a while.
"____ do you remember what happen a while back in your first mission?" Lizard asked waiting for an answer.
"Some I do remember but after is blank, or its hard to remember what happened." She answer as best she could.
We talked about this before but now that she has some control of her powers, lizard wants to make her remain under my care if she if given to be solider again.
"You and sephiroth are going to fight in hand to hand combat. We want to see if you have control over your power that you currently posses and to see if you are proven even to become the first female solider." Lizard said and pushing his glasses up more. We all noticed fear in her eyes when he mentioned about using her sword for this demotion.
"It's up to you, ____." I said and held out her sword towards her. Her hand hesitate to take the it from my hand, her shaking hand taking it into her hands.
"I'll do it. I'll do anything to make sure I don't black out like the last time and I'll make sure not to lose control again." She said and her eyes I couldn't read them at that moment. It's like she was debating on something.
"Then let's begin." He said and we all started to make our way out of the office. Heading towards the docking zone to head to our destination.
"Sir lizard, I thought we were going to use the training room?" ____ asked. We heard him chuckle and then explain to her.
"From the video we saw, we need a lot more space then the training room for this."
____ nodded her head and looked down during the ride, I noticed how genesis was looking at her with concern.
The helicopter landed in the middle of a desert, the truks said they wanted to watch the show. The 4 of them stayed a good distance away while we kept walking.
I stopped in my tracks, then turning around punching towards ____, she barely dodge my attack. Crossing her arms in an x and blocking it, but sending her going backwards but she didn't fall on her back.
"Remember your training and remember I don't hold back." I said and kept up attack after attack, not using my sword yet. Her eyes held a bit of supersize but then focus came onto her face. Alright she's getting warming up, good.
Her punches had an energy force on them and I will admit it, some would send me back. The sound of ground breaking, she created more holes each time I try to land and she punch forward and missed. Hitting the ground, causing it to crumble under one punch. I had not noticed she lost a lot of blood during our fright until, she stared to lose a bit control like before, until she stopped herself from going into her other side.
Each time a kick or a punch landed a blow, energy ways came off it but she wasn't using any meko. Blocking them with my arms, I feel the blow on each attack, causing to make them stronger. Smirking, good now she's using her full force.
