True power

Genesis pov
All night I was pacing in my room, wondering how I should act tomorrow when I see _____ for our first mission together. I've been ignoring her for a good while now, even after hearing what Angeal had to say about what she thought of me it made me think different about her. But I couldn't let my guard down as well, I have to act normal during the mission and then I'll talk to her after. Seeing her expression get sad after I ignore her hurts me and all I want to do is hug her and tell her sorry for what happen and how I was out of line for kissing her.
No just like angeal said talk to her and get it over with, then everything can go back to normal like how it was even though we might have feeling for one another but that was one big if. Getting all the information about the mission we were about to be on and hoping this mission won't take long for us to do and she's strong to take care of herself.

-hours later-

The tension between us wasn't great and trying to talk to each other is just not happening right now. I have to talk to her. I just don't know what to say or how I should say it. I just have to try.
"____. I wanted to say... that I'm sorry for losing you a while back and it was my own fault for getting into my own lust." I told her. Waiting on her response to my somewhat confession to her. Before she could say anything, I felt a summon suddenly had appeared out of thin air.
Suddenly, a large blast strike down between us, cause a large amount of dirt, trees and wind flying everywhere. Landing on a solid area and I noticed ____ was there too but breath quite a bit. I forget she's never been in battle before and only combat training. She can't handle this. She was still training and we still didn't know her strength yet.
"_____ you need to run and get back up if needed. You can't handle this summoning." I said and pulled out my sword, using my magic to power up my blade.
"Alright it's just you and me!!" I yelled. Beginning the battle.

My POV
I was so nervous about seeing genesis this morning. I haven't seen him in so long and now I'm going on a mission with him. Making sure i had everything on me and grabbing my sword as well. Checking the time on my cell phone, I had a bit of time before with had to meet genesis at the helicopter to take us to our mission. I can at least talk to Reno and that other guy that's with him and that dude with the long black hair in a pony tail.
When I saw genesis approaching in his cocky matter like always and before I could even say good morning to him.
"Hurry and let's go. Get on." He said after getting into the helicopter. I nodded and got in. So much for being nice to him. I stay quite the whole ride until we got there and listening to the details of the mission we had to do.
After being dropped off and walking around patrolling the area.

-hours later-

It's been hours now and he still hasn't talked to me or anything, besides mission stuff. Ugh I just want to get this awkwardness away and go back to normal like how we are. I mean I know I fell for him as a game character, but being with him everyday in real life and getting to know him better, I fell more in love with him.

I felt my face flush after what he had told me and I didn't know how to respond back. Because this was something I never expected and especially from genesis. Before I could respond I didn't feel the blast until I was flying backwards and trying to get a good landing somewhere. I was a bit far from genesis but I can still see him and above us was a summoning. How did a summoning end up here in the middle of nowhere.
Watching his battle from afar and seeing their powers from this world and genesis was very strong. But I just can't stand by and just watch. I was going to grab my sword but then I remember what happened with sephiroth. No I'm not gonna do that again. Leaving my sowed alone, I started running back to the fight and used my inhuman strength to help me jump from tree to tree.
Genesis got hit and flew backwards, the wind felt like being in a hurricane storm, I started gathering up energy into my right fist.
"Try this!!" I yelled and punched the left leg of the summoning and hearing a large cracking noise. The leg bend backwards and the creature made a noise in pain and angry. Attacking me with its claws, dodging just in time; noticing this thing was faster then me, if I'm not careful I could get injured or worse. Trying my hardest to dodge the attacks because it was almost grazing me. Running around the side of it, to get a better attack in, I didn't see it's wing come and I got hit hard.
"Fuck.." I felt my body fly backwards, my body slamming into large trees breaking when I made contact, but the last one.
"Ahh!" Never felt this much pain going through my body before, but I can't sit like this because I can't give up. Tying to get up, fuck this hurts so much, how can everyone in this world handle this pain.
"I-I'm not done, I will defeat you!!" I yelled at it, standing up and gathering up all my energy.
With the meko energy, I learned how to make it into chakras form and have been using it to help make better attacks with the energy and stronger hits.
Running at full speed, using flash step to start running up it and towards the face, it's claws trying to attack me while attacking itself. Before I could do another punch, it arm got me at the right moment again.
My body felt went numb for a bit, before I could hit the ground with a hard landing, I felt someone catching me. Seeing that red hair made me smile, he's ok that's good.
"I told you not to get involved." He said and ran with me in his arms. He took me far from the fight and other monsters were appearing. He set me down, and got ready in battle mode again. Before he could start I moved my hand in front of him.
"I'll take care of these, you just handle the summoning. Just promise me we will finish our conversation later and I will give you my answer then." I said and attacking the monsters with my fists and energy in them. Killing them in two hits or less. I heard him make that famous chuckle, that always made my heart melt.
"Very well." I heard him say and he disappeared. Even though I have my sword on me, I'm not using it, not one bit. I thought to myself as I continue to bash monsters in and getting covered in blood and other liquids.
