Genesis pov
I lay there in the hospital bed, all the ivs were out of my arm and I was told to lay here just for tonight and I could go home tomorrow. I remember everything from the mission and I remembered seeing _____ and her helping me. Then blackness took over until I opened my eyes; seeing her standing there with her sword in hand and blood falling like rain but turning into red dust, eye glowing blood red, looking like a radiating goddess. Then I blacked out again, I owe her my life and I still remember what we talked about before everything had happen.
"I thought you be reading loveless by now." Angeal voice broke the silence.
"No I'm afraid not today. I'm worried about _____." I said and at up fixing my poster and seeing him there.
"She has recovered. But she's still sleeping. We decided to let her rest from the events that happened. Lizard has decided she will no longer be under your care in training for solider." He said with that straight tone of his, noticing my angry get to me.
"And why is that? She risked her life for me back there and protected me and she....she defeated that thing with one blow." I said and Angeal looked surprise because he was awake and saw it first hand and in front of him. He's never seen genesis like this before, even more angry when I mentioned she wasn't under his wing anymore.
"He's also decided that the both of you took two weeks off from everything and relax. So he said this was on him and before you go, we have to show you what happened after you knocked out again." Angeal said before leaving me alone in my thoughts again.

Angeal pov
After leaving genesis room, I've never seen him like this before. This was kind of strange and I decide to stop by ____s room. Knocking before entering, I heard a come in and noticed she was awake and she looked back to her normal self. I smiled.
"Hey kiddo, how you doing?" I said as I walked up to her bed.
"Hi Angeal and I'm ok but um, well kinda confused." She said. While taking in her surroundings.
"Your in the hospital wing and you got injured Neely on the mission with genesis. Don't you remember anything?" I asked and I noticed she looked confused and trying to remember.
"I-I don't remember getting hurt, Angeal." She said and I gave her a confused look. Then I took a chair and sat next to her bed.
"Then what do you remember?" I asked her. She closed her eyes and held her hand to her head.
"I remember the mission me and genesis were assigned, we didn't talk much, then we landed in the area we were ordered to look after. Then..." she trailed off, it's like her memory was erased or something. She shut her eyes trying to remember.
"I don't remember much after that." She said and I could see it in her eyes, she didn't know what happened a few days ago.
"Well, that ok. I'm sure you don't need to remember. It must of been horrible for you that you must of blocked it out." I said and she nodded. Then her stomach growled loudly and I chuckled while seeing her blush.
"Well then you must be hungry after being in this place for a few day's. How about I take you home so you can change and I'll take you out to eat. My treat." I said being a nice friend. She got excited and she hugged me tightly. That took me by surprise and only zak acted like this.
"Ok. Ok. Enough hugging and let's hurry up and get food in your stomach." I said and helped her out.
After taking her home and shopping for a while, I got her something to eat. We had been here for a good 30 minutes and she ate about five plates of food and her last plate was a steak with loaded mashed potatoes, steamed broccoli, with a chocolate cake for dessert. She sure ate a lot like she hasn't eaten in months, while in the middle of eating she stopped.
"I....I remember about genesis getting hurt. Is he doing ok?" She asked me and looked at me with worried eyes, I can tell she really dose care about him.
"He is fine, just resting up his strength and I'm sure he'll be back to normal in no time." I said.
"Did anything else happen? Because I only remember up to that point and then just blackout ." She said and trying to remember what happen. The flashback of her kicking sephiroth though, I think that will stay in the heads who saw that happen. Grabbing her hand and giving a slight squeeze, letting her know that she didn't do anything wrong even though what we saw on the videos.
"Just don't forget about it and be happy that you both came back alive and well. Now finish eating while I go pay for everything." I said and got up to go pay for the food. Once she was done, we left and I dropped her off at home.
Making my way back to shrina, I noticed sephiroth still had _____s sword still in hand and it was still covered in dry blood, however the handle was broken in two places and he was walking to the weapon repair shop. I decided to wait until he came out.
"So I noticed you took her sword in to repair." I said as he made his way out. He stopped mid track and turned towards me.
"It needs to be ready for her training with me, since she will be under my care now. And in order for her to learn to control her new powers, her valuable item has to be fixed." He said with a blank stare but something hidden deep in his eyes.
"If you say so, and just to let you know. She's falling in love with genesis." I said getting off the wall and walking away, while hearing his gloved hands make a gripping sounds.
'Hmm the great sephiroth like someone of a change interesting.' I thought.

-later that night-

Genesis
I was laying there reading loveless, I couldn't find sleep tonight and decided to read and think about what was going happen once I was out of here. Angeal said they were going to put her under sephiroth care and it pissed me off, she'll still be working as my office assistant however, so I guess I was kinda happy I get to see her every day.
Closing my eyes and trying to relax in this horrible bed. Listening to how quiet it was here during the night, until I heard a door open and close, footsteps coming towards me.
Then I felt my body start to feel warm and healing, opening my eyes slightly I saw ____ healing me like she did before I blacked out. But this time I could feel my body going back to it's normal self, like as if nothing happened to me.
Before I could act liked I woke up and talk to her, she was already gone. The next morning, the nurses checked on me and said I recovered faster then usually and that professor hojo was going to look into that. Sending me off all I wonder is why she healed last night and I'm still getting that answer from her.
