The TARDIS made a thud once they landed. The Doctor glanced into the monitor to make sure Missy had sent them to the right place. Thankfully, they were definitely on Gallifrey. They were quite far from the citadel, though, so they had a long walk ahead of them.
"So, we going now?" Ryan asked, eager to explore.
The Doctor was quick to reply, "You're not. You and Graham are staying here. Myself and Missy will go and sort all this out."
"....but, why?" Ryan looked depressed. He didn't want to just sit in the TARDIS, while the Doctor had all the fun.
"Because," Missy interjected, "you're human, and you're not supposed to be here."
"But-" He was cut off by the Doctor.
"No, you're staying here. That's final," she put an emphasis on the last bit.
"Ryan, I know you want an adventure, but the Doctor's right." Graham added, trying to convince him, "It's better if we stay here."
Ryan gave in. "Fine," he said, sulking.
"Alright, lets go!" Missy motioned for the Doctor to follow, as she skipped to the door of the TARDIS.
As the Doctor quickly followed Missy to the door, she called back to Graham and Ryan, "You two gonna be okay?"
"Yeah," Graham reassured, a small smile forming on his face.
The Doctor grinned. "Good. I'll be back soon."
Graham nodded, as the Doctor followed Missy out of the TARDIS, locking the door behind her.
The Doctor pulled out her sonic screwdriver. "Wait." It made a buzzing noise as she cloaked the TARDIS, making it invisible to the eye.
Missy rolled her eyes, but understood why the Doctor didn't want anyone to find her TARDIS. "Just don't forget where you left it." She began walking away, expecting the Doctor to follow.
The Doctor jogged up, so she was walking beside Missy. They stayed silent the whole time, each not saying a single word.

They arrived at the citadel just as darkness was overtaking the land. They hid in the shadows, watching others pass.
"We should have changed," the Doctor whispered.
"What?" Missy whispered back.
The Doctor turned to look at Missy. "Well, we don't exactly look like everyone else."
"Oh!" Missy mumbled. "Yeah, you're right, our clothing is a huge giveaway that we don't belong here."
The Doctor held back a laugh, "We look like actual renegades!"
Missy let out a quiet, fake gasp, "Really? I never noticed!"
They sat in the shadows, hands over their mouths, trying to hold back their laughter. The situation was not at all funny, but that's not what they were laughing about.
The Doctor caught her breath. "I missed this."
"Oh, come on, Doctor! We're not children anymore," Missy exclaimed, softly.
"That doesn't mean I can't still enjoy sneaking around the citadel!" The Doctor said, with a smile. "You and me, causing havoc, just like at the Academy...."
Missy moved closer. "Doctor," she began, "....if we don't fix this-"
"We will," the Doctor declared.
"Yes, we most likely will...." She paused. "....but if we don't, please promise me you won't forget."
The Doctor looked Missy directly in the eyes. "Oh, Missy...." She grabbed her hands, and held onto them tight, "....I could never forget you."
