They are the light,

Then they are the dark,

They are the day,

Then they are the night,

They are the heat,

Then they are the cold,

They say they are perfect,

Always right,

Is it the truth?

One day they are a friend,

A family,

Then they are an enemy,

An adversary.

They are the rope holding you together,

Then they are the scissors that cut the bond.

They are the arms that hold you in your weakest moments,

Then they are the knife that pierce your delicate skin.

Promises were made and broken,

They merrily shattered the glass of trust and loyalty,

Without a moment of hesitation,

I was already forgotten.

They say they care,

Their words held sincerity and integrity,

But their voices sounded dishonest and cold.

They are nice and good-naturedㅡin public,

A cheerful smile plastered on their faces,

Then the curtain folds,

Their smiles turn menacing,

And they become cold-blooded and cruel,

They are the devil in disguise.

They are a switch,

That you can't turn on or off as you please,

They are hypocrites, impostors,

They comfort and support,

Then betray,

Two-faced bitches.

Your head hazy and foggy,

Dubious and doubtful, if you could openly trust them,

Your heart clear and explicit,

Passionate and solicitous, you could not help but love them.

They are the ones who you grew up with,

The ones who you spent your time with,

Got used to seeing them everyday,

They are the ones who showed you joy and pleasure in life.

And they are the ones who caused the endless pain and suffering,

The ones who always put you down,

The scars that covered your body,

They are the ones who murdered your soul.

They are the positive,

Then they are the negative,

They are the sky,

Then they are the ground,

They are the brightness,

Then they are the darkness,

They are the innocent angel,

Then they are the sinister devil.
