As I was about to claim my seat, I hear Kaito say, "So who's sitting on someone's lap?"
We all snap our necks towards Kaito to see him grinning widely. "There's not enough seats."
"W-What?" Kaede said as her face becomes extremely red.
"5 seats...6 people...." Shuichi notices as we all just now realized.
"So...?" Kaito asks as we all look at each other.
"The tiniest person here is Kokichi so he should sit in someone's lap." Shuichi says as we all start to "logically" think about who's lap he'll sit in.
"Who here wants to take on for the team? I'm not." Maki says as she moves away from Kokichi while Kokichi pretends to be offended.
"U-Um, no offense, but no thanks..." Kaede says as she backs away from Kokichi.
'So is no one going to take one for the team? I guess......I kinda HAVE to....'
I sigh to myself as I tell everyone, "Fiiiinnne! I'll do it...."
I shuffle over to the car and I get in the middle. Kokichi, who was very obviously happy, climbed into the car and sat in my lap. I grimace slightly as I try to get comfortable.
Kaede sits on my right while Shuichi sits on my left, and Maki sits in the front with Kaito. Kokichi puts on our seatbelt as I thank him.
"Alright! Let's go!" Kaito says as he starts up the car.
"Don't get mad at me if I run something over!" Kaito says as he starts driving.
"What?" We all ask in unison.
5 minutes later
"Y/NNNNNN....!" Kokichi whines.
"What?"
"I'm booorrredd...!" Kokichi says in a pouting tone.
"Then how about you tell me-! No, all of us more about your little "secret organization"." I says as I hear everyone agree with me.
"Ooooh! Good idea, Y/N-Chan!" Kokichi says as I blush a bit after he calls me 'Y/N-Chan.
"Well, my super secret organization has over 10,000 members! And I'm the leader as you may already know!" Kokichi says as he expects us to be surprised by we all sit in silence.
"Are you really?" Kaede asks, obviously curious if he's serious or not.
"Eh....I may not be. You'll never know since I'm a liar." Kokichi says as I start to get agitated because of how much he has messed with my mind ever since I met him.
'So he's a compulsive liar...hm.'
Suddenly, the car ran over something. Something big. We all look at each other slowly as Maki looks at Kaito like a mad parent.
"Kaito! What did you run over?!" Maki asks him as we all start panicking.
"Calm down! I think I just ran possum...." Kaito says as he pulls over recklessly.
"You think?!" Kaede yells as she quickly unbuckles.
"No! I swear! It was a possum!" Kaito says as he starts to get really defensive.
