Some Lies are Told for Good Intentions... (Kokichi Ouma x Reader)

First day of class Pt. 2

Monokuma suddenly looks all serious and then tries to yank the pencil off the desk but to no avail. Kokichi, still sitting behind me, tries to hold back his laughter as best as he could manage as we all watch Monokuma desperately try to take the pencils off.

Monokuma then sighs in irritation and goes to open one of his drawers in which he finds out are glued shut too.

"Goddammit!" Monokuma yells as he tries to open the drawer with his tiny paws.

"Gonta can help teacher because Gonta is strong." A giant-looking guy offers as I look around for who could be Gonta.

"Dammit Gonta...!" Kokichi whispers under his breath.

"Does that guy speak in 3rd person?" As ask in a whisper to Kokichi in which he nods.

"He's gonna ruin my prank..." Kokichi says like a whinny 5-year old.

Gonta gets up from his seat and shuffles his way through the desks since his body is massive. He makes it to Monokuma's desk and Monokuma steps aside as he waits patiently for Gonta to get the pencils off.

Gonta takes each pencil off with little to no effort and hands them to Monokuma.

'How is this guy so beefy?!'

He finishes getting the pencils off and reaches for the drawers. He grabs the handle and puts a bit more pressure on the drawer handle. He then pulls it out roughly and does the same to the other drawers and puts them back in their place.

"Phew! Thank you, Gonta." Monokuma says as he wipes some sweat off of his face.

"Gonta no need thanks. Gonta gentleman after all." Gonta says before heading back to his seat.

Kokichi just gives Gonta a death glare the whole time as he whispers snarky comments.

"Annnnyyyyway...! I'm going to be starting attendance." Monokuma says before looking down at the attendance sheet.

"Akamatsu?" I questions and Kaede raises her hand.

Monokuma checks her name off and starts calling other people's names....

I get my lunch and Alex gets his before we head to the table that our new friends were sitting at. I sit next to Maki and Kokichi and Alex sits directly in front of me.

"Hey Y/N!" Kaede says excitedly as I smile and nod at her. "We were just talking about you two!"

"We were?"

Kokichi asks suddenly, tilting his head.

"Kokichi, you know we were. You can stop lying." Maki says as she continues eating her ramen.

"Nishishishishi~!" Kokichi laughs as I pretend he's not there.

"We were just wondering, would you two like to hang out with us after school?" Kaede asks.

I was just about to agree before I realized something.

'Would Alex be okay with this? I mean, he's still very nervous around them and doesn't want to leave my side....'

"Um, I don't think I can.....sor-!" Right when I was about to apologize, Alex said, "Yeah! Y/N would love to go."

"What about you?" Shuichi asks as Alex pretends to play it off cool.

"No thanks. I'm really tired anyways. I'll just go straight home." Alex says as I stare at him in astonishment.

'What is he planning...?'

"Are you sure?" I ask him as he nods.

"Yeah, I'll just finish the homework for today." Alex says sweetly. "Don't let me hold you back."

'So that't what it is....he doesn't want to say no just because I'm worried for him. He's so sweet...!'

Though I could tell Alex was forcing himself to say this, I sighed. "Sure I'll come."

"Alright! I'll drive!" Kaito says as he pumps his fist in the air.

"Wait, you can drive?" I ask him with a surprised expression.

"Well, I don't have a drivers license, but I'm good at driving! Also it doesn't matter if I can drive or not. The place we're going to doesn't have cameras anyway!" Kaito says as everyone at the table facepalms at his stupidity.

"If any of us should drive here, I think it should be Shuichi." Maki says as Shuichi puts his hands up in defense.

"W-What?! Um, I d-don't think I c-could..." Shuichi says as Kaede pats his back.

"It's okay! I believe in you!" Kaede says to him.

"So your telling me to drive t-too?! I shouldn't....really...!" Shuichi says as he tries to think of an excuse.

"If Shuichi doesn't want to drive then I will! Kaito Momota will keep you all safe!" Kaito says as he puts on a brave face.

"Is everyone ready?" Kaito asks as we place our book bags in the trunk of his car.

"Wait a second...!" I say as I run over to Alex.

"Alright Alex, ill see you in a bit. If you feel worried, just call or sleep in my room." I tell him as he nods anxiously.

"Bye..."

"Bye...!" I say to him before hugging him.

Alex was shorter then me by a few inches so I was kinda towering over him. For some reason, Alex was kinda short for his age and people made fun of him for it. I just mess with him by resting my elbow on his head.

"C'mon slowpoke! We need to hurry before it gets dark!" Kaito yells to me as I wave one last time to Alex before running over to the car.
