I walked down a few feet, just out of the light, and plopped down on the cold concrete.
"At this point in shit.. I don't fucking care anymore. I just want to rest." I mumbled to myself. Holding my knees close to my chest, trying to gain as much warmth as I can.
Just as my eyes started getting heavy, I heard something.
I slowly raised my head, and looked around.
I didn't see anything, so I just suspected it was the wind.
Suddenly, I was pulled to a warm body. And a slightly cold hand was placed tightly over my mouth, as to keep me from screaming.
I didn't scream.
It was oddly comforting, actually. I haven't felt anyone's body heat but my own since I was a toddler. Around 4 years old.
My eyes started to get heavy, and I started to feel really sleepy all of a sudden.
I blinked slowly, and deeply sighed.
'Finally.. something to take all this pain away. Thank you, mysterious stranger.'
Then, everything went black.
