Proposal (Ft. Lucy) (Admin Commentary)

AN: I'm not often gonna leave the admin commentary in, but I made an exception for nthis since my baby boy's growing up. KPD= KawaiiPotatoDragon and RAP= RandomAnimePerson. This was gonna happen in the earlier upload to this, but since that kept failing to work out, we just did it like this, instead.

Natsu knocked on the door to Lucy's house, nervous grin twitching. "Lu~!" he called when she took too long.

Lucy faced the door. First time, and out of all the times he could've knocked on the door, was that day. What did he want? She walked towards the door and opened it, "What?" She asked annoyed

"You're annoyed," he noted uncomfortably, not willing to barge in - this time.

"No duh. Anyways, what?" She repeated, tilting her head to the side a bit. Her eyes shwoing curiousity. First she was annoyed, now curious. Such a mood swing.

 "Okay. So here's the thing: it's difficult to do this." He began, not quite sure where to go next. He hadn't exactly created a speech for this. A shallow breath escaped him and he felt his head drop, "Sorry I couldn't do it a better way, for a start. I kept leaving it too late, and I didn't really know how to bring it up in conversation."

"Bring /what/ up in a conversation," Now she was /really/ confused. Bring up what? Say what? Couldn't do /what/ better?

With a deep, cleansing breath, he pulled off his scarf, shaking it until a small box fell, which he caught in his hand. "Here goes..."

Her eyes widened, her hands staying by her side, just in case if she needed her cover her mouth in shock or something. Her body shook as he got on one knee. This wasn't what she was thinking, right?

Opening the small box in his hand wasn't as easy as it seemed in the movies, mostly because he was holding it the wrong way around. "Uh.. Lu- Eheh. Lucy.." he stated, carefully holding up the ring for her. "Would you marry me?"

KPD// I'm smiling like an idiot over these idiots gdi

Just as expected, her hands made their way towards her mouth as her eyes stayed wide. No, this wasn't some crying teary-eyed movie scene. This was real. Her hands - shaking in small surprise - slowly moved from her mouth. A smile appeared on her lips and she answered. "Yes Natsu, I'll marry you."

RAP//You'd think how much I'm fangirling behind this screen right now x'D

"Really?" he said, actually taken back by her agreement.

KPD// It's been a long, long time since an RP has made me this giddy. ^~^ My bby boy's finally grown up.

Lucy's smile didn;t leave her face when she rolled her eyes in a kind of "duh" matter. "Of course I would agree. Who would I be to say no?"

RAP// Really? >///> aww~ staph dat! I'm just kidding XD Throw in all the love! ( if that made sense) I'm haven't made any sense recently.

His wide eyes rested on the ring sitting in it's case on his palm, his mouth slightly agape. He looked up at her, then back down. "Well, I just mean-..."

Fuck it.

The dragon slayer smiled. "I love you, Lucy," he said, pulling her hand towards him. This he knew, he had done research to make sure he got the right finger. He pulled out the ring, slipping it onto her gently.

KPD//ALL THE LOVELINESS

As the beautiful ring slid onto her finger, her other hand stayed covering her mouth. /This/ time, she allowed the happy tears flow. A smile hiding behind her trembling hand. When he looked back up at her as flung herself at him, hugging him. "I love you too!"

RAP// ALL OF IT!

The force of her hug nearly pushed him onto his back, but he was a strong mage, whether he was paralyzed by shock or not. He held onto her, holding her at his level. There wasn't much of a height difference between them, he knew, but it was still there, and now they were at an exact equal.

His grin was ear to ear, and he placed his forehead against hers. "I know," he assured her, "I know you do."

KPD// I am grinning ear to ear, too, so ya know. uwu I'm so happy for him.

All she could think in her mind was kiss him, and that's exactly what she did. She slammed her lips onto his, her eyes instantly closing. IN her mind she kept repeating, 'Natsu proposed to me... Natsu proposed to me!'

RAP// Too sweet TuT I'm so happy for Lucy.

He smirked inside of the kiss, dropping her on her feet once their lips parted, and held both of her hands. "I guess that didn't go too bad for a second rate proposal, huh?" he asked, his forehead touching hers.

KPD//These two... :')

"Second rate?" She looked at him with an eyebrow arched. "Really?" She then giggled after that.

RAP// Agreed (✿◠‿◠)

"Well I was gonna do it on that camping trip a while ago," he pouted, still holding her hands firmly within his.

KPD//I'ma cry now. Kay?

"Really? So /that's/ what was under your shirt... No wonder..." She looked down, a serious thinking expression on her face. Them she looked back up smiling, "this was still very romantic though!"

RAP// Cry, I'ma join you.

"Eheh... Yeah. But I'm glad this worked out anyway." He chuckled.

KPD// I think we can end it here. uwu
