ARIANA

Simon had called us in later that day for a meeting, saying how we needed to be official on social media which meant posting pictures with each other and tweeting each other, which meant I had to give them my password so that if I hadn't tweeted enough, or the right things, or if something were to happen like that, they could do whatever they wanted on my Twitter or Instagram.

Simon wanted us to confirm it, because as of this point it was all just rumors.

We drove back to Zayns house in almost complete silence, the only thing emitting noise was the radio.

Things had pretty much been like this since I had accidentally put on Perrie's clothes. Zayn was very upset and I couldn't figure out why.

"Did you love her?" I asked.

He's going to yell, he's going to yell, he's going to-

"Yes." Was the only answer I got back.

"And," I said pushing the subject, I didn't really want him to be any more mad then he was, but I wanted to know.

"She didn't love me."

These vague responses are going to kill me.

I guess he had noticed my complete and utter confusion and frustration as to figuring out their former relationship, because he said, "Would you like to hear the story or are you just going to keep asking vague questions?"

I resisted the urge to slap him in that moment because, while my questions might have been a little unclear, his answers were even worse.

So I just nodded.

"I loved her. I think she loved me at one point, but then I caught her sneaking around, ya know? I was curious as to what was going on and when I asked Jade, who was completely oblivious to the term 'personal' told me everything. Lying, cheating, she was only faking it for the promotion. Sure it started out as a fake relationship, but over time I started having feelings for her, she told me she felt the same way, she told me she loved me, loved me, I believed her. She promised me she would stop getting paid by Modest! and I found out that she still was. It was all a joke to her. And in my mind there's this little voice saying, she still loves ya, always has. But it's stupid, really."

I didn't realize I was in tears until I felt the moisture running down my cheeks.

"So if I've ever come across as rude or anything like that, I'm just trying so hard not to get attached," He said, and whispered, "but you're making it very hard."

That sentence sent shivers down my spine. I was going to say something but the words wouldn't come to me, it was like they'd been sucked right out of my brain.

"We're here," He said, turning off the engine and heading inside leaving me to sit there, absolutely speechless and starstruck.

**

"What are we going to do about the pictures we're supposed to post?" I wondered out loud.

"We could take a selfie," He responded nonchalantly.

I just about choked, but regained myself and nodded.

It took us a few minutes to get in position, because neither of us could really agree on an angle, until we found the right one, and immediately took it, because we didn't seem to agree on much.
{selfie on the side:)}

"Okay so I can post it and then you can repost it," He suggested, seeing as we had taken the selfie in his phone.

"Okay."
