COFFEE

Henry's P.O.V.
            I sneak back through my window into my room. Captain Man and I had just stopped Jeff again. It took ALL night! It normally doesn't take us that long to stop Jeff. Captain Man called me at 10:30 pm and that's when I left. It is now 6:30 am. God, I'm so tired. I go to my bed and lay down. I try to go to sleep, but my mom walks into my room and tells me to get up.

            "Why? It's Saturday! It's not like I have anywhere important to be!" I protest.

            "You have work. Your shift starts at 7." Mom answers.

            Oh yeah. I forgot. "Okay, mom." I say as I get out of bed and start getting ready for work. It's 6:50 when I finally walk out of my room. I walk to the kitchen and see the coffee pot, completely full. I've never had coffee before, but I've heard that it gives you a lot of energy and that's exactly what I need right now. Just to get me through the day. I grab a coffee mug and pour some coffee into it. I take a sip of my coffee and I feel a little perked up. I quickly finish the coffee and pour some more into the coffee mug. I know I probably shouldn't drink too much coffee, but I need enough to get me through the day.

            I look at the time on my phone. 8:00?! I'm late!! Ray is gonna kill meeeee!!! Gotta go! I run out the door, feeling really hyper! I run down the street, all the way to Junk N' Stuff! I run into Junk N' Stuff and see Jasper sitting at the counter!

            "Hey, Hen! Why are you late?" Jasper asks.

            I quickly stop running. Taking a deep breath, I say really quickly and energetically, "Igotupgotdressedandittookmeawiletogetdressed
thenIwentdownstairsanddrankacupofCOFFEEthenIspentanhourandtenminutesdrinkingcoffeeandIprobablydrankatleasttencupssonowIamreallyhyper!!!" I'm breathing really quickly right now!

            "Okay. Slow down. I could not understand a word of what you just said." Jasper said.

            "Gottago!" I yell before running back to the elevator. I go down to the Mancave and run out of the elevator.

            "You're late." Ray scolds.

            I take a deep breath and I think I explain the same thing I told Jasper, but it's all a blur since I am so hyper.

            "Wow. That was a lot. You just need to calm down." Ray says.

            "Ican'tcalmdown!" I scream.

            I feel the energy wearing off and I collapse to the ground. I don't pass out, however.

            "Did you drink too much coffee?" Ray asks.

            "Yeah. Yeah, I did."
