A.N. This was requested by @kedugbell so I hope you enjoy! This takes place sometime in the timeline of season 3 of Henry Danger.

Henry's P.O.V.
Ray and I are stopping Dr. Minyak from robbing a bank. Dr. Minyak takes out some sort of ray gun and aims it at me. I gasp as he fires the ray gun and I feel an excruciating pain in my chest as I cry out in agony. The burning sensation continues for a few seconds until the world around me fades to black.
Ray's P.O.V.
I watch in horror as Dr. Minyak shoots my sidekick with the ray gun.
Henry passes out on the ground. "Kid!" I yell. I quickly beat up Dr. Minyak and knock him unconscious before running over to my sidekick. I feel for a pulse. I breathe a sigh a relief. He's still alive. I pick him up and carry him to the Man Van. I call Schwoz to tell him to be prepared to help Henry by time we get back.
We arrive to the Mancave and I send Henry down his tube and I go down my own tube as well. Schwoz is ready with a medical bed when we get there. I carry Henry over to the medical bed and place him on it. Schwoz gets to work, checking on Henry's vitals and some science stuff probably. I can't really focus on exactly what's happening because I'm too worried about Henry.
"This is all my fault!" I say to myself.
~time skip to a few hours later~
I hear a pained groan come from my sidekick resting on the medical bed and look over at him as he slowly opens his eyes.
"Ray?" He croaks out, his voice hoarse.
"Hey, kid... How you feeling?" I ask gently.
"My body hurts." He says.
"I'm sorry you got hurt, kid. I should've been there to protect you. This is all my fault." I say apologetically.
"Hey, don't worry about it. I'm fine. I mean, I'm not dead, right? Everything's fine." Henry says, smiling at me.
I smile back at him and say, "I'm glad you're okay, kid."
