He's Back!

This was requested by ClassicSunshineMikey who is doing her own version of this and wanted to see how I would make it. Hope you enjoy! This takes place during the time of Danger Force.

Ray's P.O.V.
The kids are late to school! Dang it! They're just as bad as Henry! Henry was late to work a lot. I miss that kid. I wonder what he's doing right now.

Henry's P.O.V.
I look at a picture on my phone. It's a selfie that Ray and I took together after he found out I was alive. I smile at the picture. I miss him. I wonder how it's going with Danger Force.

Ray's P.O.V.
Any-Ray, where are those kids?!

I call Schwoz and after a few seconds of the phone ringing, Schwoz answers, "whassuuuuuppp?

"Where are the kids?" I ask him.

"I don't know. They're late again?" Schwoz asks in annoyance.

"Yeah!" I say.

"They're as bad as Henry!" Schwoz says.

"That's just what I was thinking!" I say.

Henry's P.O.V.
Someone knocks on my door.

"Who is it?" I call.

"Jasper and Charlotte!" Jasper calls back.

I tell them to come in and they enter.

"Thinking about Ray again?" Charlotte asks.

"Yeah." I answer honestly.

"I'm sure he misses us as much as you miss him." Jasper says.

"Yeah. You're probably right." I say, putting my phone away.

Ray's P.O.V.
I hang up the phone when Mika and Miles walk in.

            "Sorry we're late, Ray!" Mika apologizes.

            "It's okay, I guess. Where are Chapa and Bose?" I ask.

            They shrug just as Chapa and Bose walk into the school.

            I sigh, still thinking about Henry.

            The kids seem to notice this.

            "Ray? Are you thinking about Henry again?" Chapa asks.

            I stay silent, but they know what my answer is.

            "I'm sure he misses you just as much as you miss him." Mika says.

            I walk away from the kids and go up to the Man's Nest.

Miles's P.O.V.
            "Hey, look! Ray left his phone on Mika's desk!" I point out.

            "Hmmmm." Mika says, walking over to her desk and picking up Ray's phone. She turns on the phone.

            "What are you doing?" I ask my sister.

            "Calling Henry." She answers. Of course.

            She clicks a button and puts the phone up to her ear.

            "Hey, Henry! It's Mika!" She says into the phone.

Henry's P.O.V.
            My phone starts ringing and I look at the caller id. Ray. I answer the phone.

            "Hey, Henry! It's Mika!" Mika's voice says from the other line.

            "Hey, Mika! How's it going?" I ask her, Linda wondering why she has Ray's phone.

            "Good! What's going on?" Mika asks.

            "Nothing. There actually hasn't been much to do arou..." I say and Mika cuts me off by saying, "perfect! Hey, look, I bet you miss Ray."

            "Yeah, actually. I miss him a lot." I answer truthfully.

            "He misses you a lot too! Look, is there any possible way that you could come down for a visit?" Mika asks.

            This question shocks me, but I answer, "yeah! I'm actually not busy lately. Why?"

            "It's just... It's been kinda hard on Ray recently. I think he just needs to see an old friend. I mean, we don't make it easy for him. I got my superpower, sure, but I accidentally set all the villains in Swellview prison free using it. None of us have control over our powers so Ray has been exhausted." Mika explains.

            Poor Ray. It must be hard. "Yeah. I'll be there tomorrow. I'm gonna fly in." I answer.

            "Great! Thanks, Henry! See ya tomorrow!" Mika says.

            "No problem! Bye!" I say as I hang up the phone.

            I turn to Jasper and Charlotte and ask, "you guys think you can hold down the fort for a couple of days?"

            They both agree that they can. I thank them and they leave. I'm gonna see Ray again tomorrow. I better get a plane ticket!

Ray's P.O.V. (The next day.)
            The kids are learning to fight when the alarm sound, "stranger approaching! School mode activated!"

            We put everything back into school mode and I open the door and I gasp.

Henry's P.O.V.
            Ray opens the door and gasps.

            "Henry?! W-what are you doing here?" He asks as he smiles and hugs me and I hug back.

            "Mika called me yesterday using your phone and explained to me everything that's going on and I haven't been busy anyway so... here I am!" I answer as we pull out of the embrace.

            "It's so great to see you!" Ray says.

            "It's so great to see you too, Ray!" I say back.

            We walk inside the school and I look around.

            "Today, I'm teaching them how to fight. Well, I'm trying to." Ray tells me.

            "Kids, let's show Henry how... good at fighting you are." Ray tells the kids, putting the desks away and pulling out some mats as the kids get some gear on.

            I watch for a bit and... wow. They are terrible! I see what they're doing wrong.

            "Mind if I...?" I ask Ray.

            "Go for it." He says.

            "Cool." I get up and show the kids some fighting techniques that I picked up over the years.

            "Thanks, Hen." Ray says.

            "No problem, Ray." I say. Ray puts his arm around my shoulders and we watch the kids train together.
