"Why can't we just meet them after?" Devon asked making you sit up on his bed.
"I already told you, D" you sighed "we promised we'd be there".
"Fine" he said sitting up next to you as you continued reading your book.
A low tune coming from the radio caught Devon's ears as your song came on.
"(y/n)" he said poking you.
"(y/n)" he said poking you again.
"(y/n)" he said once again poking you.
"Oh my god, what?" you asked quite annoyed.
"It's our song" Devon said smiling.
You looked at the boy feeling slightly less annoyed but still a little bit frustrated that he interrupted your reading.
"Come on" he said standing up and reaching out his hand for you to grab "m'lady/mister"
You grabbed his hand and stood up as he put his hands on your waist and you yours around his neck.
"You're a dork" you said smiling at the boy.
He didn't answer but only smiled feeling lucky that he was able to be with someone as amazing as you.
