Oh, btw, whenever they're talking about their plans to destroy the building, it's in a shared telepathy thing. Gowther... is magic, so he can be in the 'call' too.
The next day was filled with rest, and preparation. All of them were filled with apprehension, the thought that they would honestly be going back to their worlds was something they'd only dreamt of. On the other hand, they had all gotten closer. Though they knew they'd have to, none of them wanted to sever the bonds they had made.
As night fell, they went on patrol again. Splitting into groups of two and each taking half of the area.
"I feel like we've been in this situation before~" Ban said to Killua.
"Right. I just can't place my finger on it." Killua grinned. They looked at each other for a second, and started laughing.
"Oh man~ What was his name? I don't even remember~!"
"Box hero? Building hero? Eh, doesn't matter! Oh his getup was the best!" They laughed. It had been a while since they'd laughed like this, either of them. Since they played bored games. They would be lying if any of them said they wouldn't miss this, however, they each had people waiting for them back in their worlds, and, as much as they enjoyed their time here, it wouldn't be right to up and abandon them. Besides, Warren had been waiting for this, and they made a promise.
They continued on their patrol until the next morning. Instead of Killua and Ban going to their room, they went to Saiki and Gowther's room.
"So~ What's the plan?" Ban asked.
"Saiki and Ban will destroy the basements and the first 10 floors. Gowther and I will get the next 40!" Killua explained.
"How do we destroy it? Are we going for a complete annihilation, or just a little love tap~?" Ban sang.
"Complete annihilation." Saiki responded without hesitation.
"Perfect~" Ban grinned.
"I have no destructive power." Gowther stated.
"Okay... Saiki, can you do the basements?" Killua asked.
"*Sigh* Fine." He nodded. The plan was set. In roughly 21 hours, they'd be gone, as if they were never there.
*Ding*
Killua's phone went off. "Huh? It's Warren...." He read over the message.
"What'd he say~?" Ban looked over Killua's shoulder.
"Don't do that when someone's reading messages!" Killua scolded, he sighed. "He says: 'Hello! I hear your internships are going quite well! I realized I forgot to inform you of something very important. Seeing as this is a game, naturally, it will reset once you complete it. Do not fear! Your work was not for naught! If you successfully destroy my company, it will cease to exist. It will be completely wiped from the game file. Toodleoo!'" Killua read.
"Makes me wonder what'll happen if we don't destroy it...." Killua sighed again. "Speaking of destruction... what are we going to do about the companies stocks? As long as those are still around, this company technically still exists."
"...Stocks?" Gowther tilted his head to the side.
"What are those?" Ban asked.
"It's like buying partial ownership of a company." Killua explained. "The more someone buys, the more the company profits. Alternatively, if the value of the stocks fall, then the company loses money."
"Oh~"
"You still don't get it do you?" Killua rolled his eyes.
"Not even a little bit~" Ban grinned.
"Nevermind. Saiki and I will handle it." Killua pinched the bridge of his nose.
"Are stocks on the line?" Gowther asked.
"Pfft! You mean online, right?" Killua laughed.
"Yes."
"They are. Stocks aren't a physical thing." Killua nodded.
"I can destroy them." Gowther did that thing he does (I don't know what it's called, but you know when he puts his hand up to his face and says 'sparkle'? That action? Yeah, he does that. Forgive my vague explanation XD)
"You know how to delist stocks?" Killua's eyes widened.
"De...list?" Gowther asked.
"Oh... I guess not. All you have to do is hack into the vice presidents computer, and go to the stock website, then uh... figure it out?"
"I will do that." Gowther nodded.
"Once we've done that, we have a short window of time to destroy the building, we have to do it before they notice anything." Saiki explained.
"What about the people who resist~?" Ban grinned.
"Be fully prepared to kill them." Saiki sighed.
"Okay~" Ban chuckled.
"Alright, now that that's settled, I'm going to bed!" Killua got up and dusted off some non-existent dust, and went to his room.
"Yep~" Ban followed after him. Saiki and Gowther also decided to get some rest.
They slept soundly for about 8 hours before they woke up. When they did wake up, it was about 1:30. 3 and a half hours remained.
"Can't we just do it now~?" Ban complained. "I mean, what are we gonna do while we wait?"
"We could. So why not?" Killua shrugged.
"That's fine." Gowther nodded.
"Good grief, you guys have no patience. Fine." Saiki sighed.
"Perfect~"
"Let's do it!" Killua grinned.
It took me way too long to write this really short chapter, and I don't know how to end this story, so I hope it'll satisfy you guys!
