"We worked for them briefly. Due to... unforgiving circumstances." Saiki muttered the last bit, it was true, the situations they'd gotten themselves into were quite unforgiving. They had to work for whoever said that they could help, out of necessity. Saiki sighed.

"What were those circumstances?" Nezu asked. Saiki didn't say anything. Luckily for him, they had already discussed what they would do if they were questioned. "Saiki. We need you to tell us the whole story or we won't ever be able to catch them."

"...They held something over us. So we had to work for them, or else we'd die." Saiki half-lied.

"Were you in debt?" Nezu kept prying.

"We didn't owe them any money." Saiki tried to tell them enough so that they'd leave them alone, but too little for them to figure anything out.

"Okay. We aren't getting anywhere. While you worked for them, did you commit any crimes?"

"We mostly just watched heroes and marked their movements." That was true. He just left out the bank robbery.

"Did you ever kill for them?"

"Almost... but one of the members helped us out." Saiki shrugged.

"How so?" Aizawa was interested now.

"He told us that they never had anything on us in the first place, and that we had no reason to work for them anymore. We quit two or three days before the Festival." Saiki was a little shocked that he could just spin all these lies with no problems. Even he would have believed them (if he wasn't a mind reader).

"Good. If there's anything you think you should tell us, say it now." Principal Nezu warned. Saiki chuckled. He applauded the principal for his overwhelming trust in his students.

"We're targets now. Although, I don't think that they can really do anything to us for a while." Saiki grinned. He knew that they would be watching the Sports Festival, and after they showed the world a little bit of what they could do, the League would have to come up with a proper plan to 'capture' them.

"Yes, your antics at the Sports Festival are sure to get you noticed by some big companies, and ward off any enemies." Nezu smiled.

"What's our punishment? I don't think you're just going to let us go...." Saiki sat back in his chair and folded his arms. "Unless you have something else in mind?"

"You're quite good at reading people. No, there's no punishment. But, I don't think you're just going to let the League of Villains go either." Nezu grinned and stood up. "I don't need to question your friends, after all, they'll all just tell me the same thing, right?" Nezu chuckled and left the room. Saiki followed him, but was stopped by Aizawa.

"I don't think it would be wrong to say that we don't trust each other, however, I hope, that if you ever find yourself in... unforgiving situations like this again, you'll lean on the adults a little more." Saiki was surprised. No one. Not a single person had ever told him to lean on them. Even though he knew he was more powerful than Aizawa, and could take him out easily, it was still a nice thing to hear.

"You'll be under close watch, for your safety and everyone else's. Good day." Nezu said before he left.

"What... did you tell him?" Killua asked quickly. "Are we in the clear? We looking at Jail time? Do we have to move?"

"I... pretty much told them everything...." 'Except for the bank robbery.' He told them the rest telepathically, even though they weren't getting any punishments, they were being watched so they couldn't afford to say anything that would contradict what he told them in the room.
