ch.20: Bad Romance

i turned around and there she was. the girl with the brown hair. i didn't know what to do. this was the one time i was scared. he warned me about her. what if she's dangerous?

"uhm...hi?" i said

"so..you and brandon huh? back off." she said while lifting her eye brow.

"uhh..he's my boyfriend. i like him. so no." i said whiling giving an awkward smile.

"ohhh...so he hasn't told you about me. that mother fucker"

"what..do you mean? who are you?" i asked whiling backing up.

"who am i?" she said.

"i'm brandon's girlfriend."

"you're who's what?" i asked.

"you heard me. i'm his girlfriend"

"listen...uhh?"

"reina.. i think you got the wrong guy." i said while heading to my class.

"yeah.." natalie said while looking at me

"no no no no...no. brandon domínguez. super popular. man bun. you're his side. i'm his main." she said while crossing her arms.

"uhh i don't think so. he's not like that anymore. he's changed. you're just one of the girls that are trying to make us breakup."

"yeah like come on..you'll find someone soon" said natalie while laughing

"oh really? you don't recognize me?"

i look closely and then i realize..i do recognize her. that girl i saw him talking to i'm the gym. the girl that drive him to school. the one flirting with him. the one he used to get away from me. he's never told me anything about her. i get it tho..we aren't that far into our relationship. but still he coulda told me about her when he warned me.

"natalie..." i whisper.

"yeah?"

"that's the girl brandon was with a few weeks ago. the one i told you about. she drove him to school"

"holy shit. you think they might be dating?"

"i don't know...let's find out"

"you're that girl aren't you? the one that drove his to school a few weeks ago.." i said

the bell rings but i still stay there. i could care less about this period. plus Natalie's staying with me. hopefully brandon doesn't skip 1st. he always does since it's study hall. but if he sees me talking to her...he'll kill me

"yup. he called me all these names and he told me he was my boyfriend and i was his girlfriend all this shit. then you show up."

"wait..but you guys broke up tho so what the fuck?" natalie said.

"no we didn't. he still talks to me. you just never see it."
