I wanted to hold onto this perfect life of mine.

Oh, how much I dreamt of this, this life that I can finally hold dear in my arms.

But why can't I feel happy?

Is something missing?

Is it just me or can someone feel this way too?

"Hello?"

Here it is again.

Someone is calling me for the past two weeks and it is seriously creeping me out. I wanted to yell at this person to stop, but for some reason, I can't even go to the police.

I don't know, I have a hunch.

But no.

It can't be.

"Callia? Are you still awake?"

I hang up the call and put my phone away. I need to stop thinking, it'll just be a waste of time.

Mom was just asking me if I could teach her plants vs zombies, really, mom has finally eased her strict self.

Now that I look at her, I could no longer see the tired look on her eyes. She's as bright as papa and that's what I hope to continue forever.

"He's here!" I could hear Mei Ling's voice from afar and for some reason, my heart was beating loudly inside my chest.

Why am I like this seriously? Am I expecting here to come here like a knight in shining armor?

Stupid woman!

I turned around and just left the humongous crowd of people and went to our office. Looking at the rumoured person won't help me be a full time worker here, instead, I could just invest my time learning and working.

But of course, life's a total bitch at me again.

I was about to put my hands in the door knob when I was called by one of my superior.

"What is it Mrs. Han?"

"I figured that you're a hard working person based on my observation and because of that, I'll be handing out newest recruit to you, guide him well and continued to work hard and you'll definitely be a part of us. Good luck"

What the- what just happened?

I was about to say something when I notice a tall figure walking in our way.

With a glance, I was still unclear about this rumored recruit but now, I find myself looking to his clear dark orbs and for a second, I felt fear in my heart.

Fear of my perfect life being crushed from his eyes.

Like the calm sea, he's finally starting a storm.
