Before they knew it, Christmas break had arrived. The past months they had been at the school, they had 100 house points taken off- just the four of them. Slytherin house found stuff they did funny: going down to the kitchens early in the morning and hexing the Gryffindor food so that their hair changed colour when they ate (it didn't wash out for a week); using the Marauders map for all types of things- Harry gave that to Albus and the cloak to James; and the impromptu firework displays they put on all around the castle.

They were harmful antics so they wouldn't get in too much trouble, a double detention and ten house points off was their most severe punishment.

Ginerva and Harry hadn't spoken since the first day of term. Harry wouldn't because he knew he was right, Ginerva wouldn't because she knew she was right. Even when Harry tried to say he was sorry just to stop the arguement, she forced him out the house.
Hermione and Ronald have been good supporters. They're on Harry's side, but Ronald can't say so because Ginerva's his sister.

Draco and Harry had been writing at least once a day. They both recieved letters of their children's antics, neither being mad just more amused than anything. They got two sides to every story and the kids would often blame someone else, rarely say it was their fault.

The pair of adults met a couple times to chat about the past and smoothe things over. They did, it wasn't as hard as they thought it would be. Draco even gave Harry advice on what to do with the Ginerva situation. He would talk to her today before they pick the kids up to see what they're going to do.

Rapidly, Harry knocked on the door awaiting it to open. It was a weird experience, he was knocking on the door of his own house.

He couldn't beleive it... she wouldn't do that would she? She did though... Ginerva Weasley had a baby bump... she cheated on Harry. "Can I come in?" Harry cleared his throat. Although he never loved Ginerva, he didn't think it would be this hard to see she'd been unfaithful. Especially, the fact she didn't tell him.

"Harry, I- I was going to tell you-" he put a hand up to stop her from talking.
"I don't mean to sound harsh, but I was thinking of a divorce anyway. We clash, since the war we've changed- we practically argue whenever we're in the same room. I love you, just not the way you want me to." He looked up to see her stunned, but not upset, "just tell me who, when and where."
"Dean Thomas-" Harry guessed that much, he wanted conformation, "- two nights after I came back here. And, and here... in our bed..." Wow. Not only was she unfaithful, but she did it in the house. Well she can keep it then, he isn't going to stay in the same house.

Thinking it through, Harry has zero right to be mad about this. He has been in a loveless relationship since that night he almost kissed Draco, that's when those feelings resurfaced and that's when he realised they never went away. Ginny did love Harry once, but Harry only wanted to believe he loved her back.

Now there's the matter of the children. Who will they stay with? Harry has no place to go at all, where will he go? But going through Harry's mind was if he tells the kids the entirety of the truth, or just fragments.

"I think it's best if I break the news to the kids Gin. And they can choose who they want to stay with. You can keep the house, and we aren't leaving on a bad note." He told her giving her a hug. Inside, it was an oxymoron. On one hand, he was cheated on by his wife and she is pregnant with a child. On the other, he's never loved her in the way she's wanted him to love her, he's gay and now... he's free(ish).

"Thank you Harry. You are too kind for this world." She cried in his arms. Hearing that wasn't right. He wasn't. He had two children and married a person he didn't love. How is any of that right? "We should let the kids decide where they want to stay, with you or with me.
