Guarded Moon

Hello everyone! This was a poem written at midnight, so I can't say it will make sense... but I'm pretty proud of it! Feel free to interpret it as you wish and comment your interpretation or anything I can do better!

Vainly chasing

The ever fleeting moonlight

The sky, dark

Something doesn't feel right

Around the beacon

Stars shine so bright

Alone with my thoughts

In the solitude of night

Pearl armor

The secrets it is keeping

The wafting scent of dawn, far out

Whilst everyone is sleeping

Towers closing in on my

The map fails to guide

To the abandoned plain

The secrets it hides

All senses

Utterly liquified

The moon singing, mysterious

With stubbornness and pride

Adventurer far below

Along the soft breeze

Harmony and tune ride

Opalescent shell

Shrouded in the dark

The only sound

A soft, gentle lark

The moon glows still

It's secrets well hidden

Remaining isolated

As it has been bidden

Of titanium impurities

It has been ridden

Forever entombed in black

Always there,

Never forgotten
