Because of my new readers, I'm uploading :))

"I failed that Chemistry test again because I carelessly overlooked the first number!" a girl blabs at my left.

"I know how you feel. I understand the concepts but when it comes to the test, I get a mental blackout!" the boy behind her declares.

"We better hurry to class. I need to study that Math exam." the girl then rushes away.

"Wait for me! I also have to start on the English project!" be runs after her.

I stare dumbfounded at the spot in the corridor that they left empty. I actually miss having homework to do instead of just worrying about the play.

Sure, I'm living the life right now but after everything ends, I'm going to face academic hell. I guess I'll be stuck in school even on Saturdays to make up for weeks of no lecture, discussions and quizzes.

I wonder how Principal Dickey would make a plan for this. The academic council would not have us exempted.

Instead of having deeper thoughts, I proceed to the auditorium as instructed.

I don't notice Vince walking behind me until I feel a tap on my shoulder which almost made me scream. His touch is a bit cold and terrifying.

"What do you want?" I ask him, irritation evident in my voice.

He just smiles and nods a little and then he passes by me.

I hate how he has that effect on me, that stupid shallow guy. Whenever he passes by, he could make my heart stop pumping and control my lungs to stop breathing. If I stay near him for more than two minutes, I think I'll die. This is why I stay away from him even if I kind of like him. ---I remind myself once again.

For a minute, he excites me that he might talk to me but then like now, he leaves me hanging. I don't expect much really after what he's always done to me but I guess my heart's not smart as my brain. It doesn't learn lessons. It just feels.

Snapping me out of my emotional state, Jaime grabs my arm and pulls me towards the auditorium.

I never thought that I could make it up to this day, the last day of practices. I would've given up on Elisa's role even before but by a stroke of magic, I’ve made it this far. Looking back at those silly moments that all of us shared, I feel like laughing. I've grown much out of this experience and I even think that I've already found a dream -- I want to work on Broadway someday!

Before we officially practice for the last time in this auditorium, Ms. Suzanne gathers us on stage.

"This is it guys, our last practice. I want to see your full effort up there as if this is the premiere! I also want to say thank you for giving me such wonderful people to work with. I know that putting up a whole play is difficult but we made it through. Good luck!" Ms. Suzanne's eyes turned watery as tears begin rolling down.

Some others couldn't help but cry too. I am one of them. I couldn't help but be sentimental. I would miss everything and everyone. This play is a big part of my life and so are the people with me. Things will never be the same when this ends.

With that, the practice starts. This is the second time that we will fully rehearse the play. It isn't as trouble free as the first one yet it isn't perfect too. We're on our way there. Unfortunately, we aren't able to rejoice at that improvement because something bad happens.

Do you know the saying "break a leg"? That's what happened. Jaime absent-mindedly runs to the right side of the stage for a unknown reason. She loses her balance and steps with the wrong foot. Kyle is beside her and he should've caught her but he freezes due to shock. Mikee attempts to run but Jaime's foot is already twisted. The best thing he does is to catch her head, preventing anymore damage.
