Princess’ Side
“Good morning!” I hear a voice greet me as I come out of my room. I rub my eyes and my blurred vision becomes clear. I see Vince already in his uniform.
What is he doing in my house at this time of day?
Oh right. He slept over.
I look at my left and see his mom talking to my mom. On the other hand, Dad and Andy are nowhere to be found. They must still be asleep. Those two get along so well.
“Princess, better hurry. The school bus is coming.” My mom tells me.
“What time is it?” I ask. I glance at our wall clock before anyone could answer. I only have twenty minutes to go!
I rush inside the bathroom. Though I hurried my bath, I still couldn’t help singing in there. Finally, I finish and dry myself.
When I get out, Vince is standing right next to the bathroom door. “Close your eyes!” I scream while I blush. He covers his eyes while laughing.
Note to self: Never bring a guy home especially the one who could take that as an opportunity to ruin your life and hear you sing in the showers.
I run to my room to dress up. After five minutes, or so, I get my bag and go to the front door. The school bus is already there.
“Dear, you haven’t had breakfast yet!” my mom tells me. Before I could even respond, Vince pulls my hand and goes into the bus. This is the first time that Andy doesn’t cry when I left. And it is because he is asleep.
When Vince and I get on the bus, the hollers of my other schoolmates stop. They stare at us. This is what I feared. I sit on the nearest seat I could find and Vince sits beside me. Then the teasing starts.
“I blame you for this.” I tell Vince.
“What’s so bad about this?” he says, smirking. Just perfect. This must be one of his evil plans and I just fell for it. I keep quiet, hoping not to react to give him some satisfaction.
“Thanks. I had a great time.” He says. I remain silent.
“Don’t worry, I won’t say a word.” He tries to assure me.
“You better not or else I’ll tell them about the T-shirt thing.” I say.
“You don’t trust me.” He tells me.
“Good thing you know.” I say.
Soon we arrive in school. When we get to our classroom, we see our classmates studying for a quiz. Looking at them, I begin to worry. I’ve missed so many classes. What about my grades? Principal should have a plan for this. Despite my troublesome thoughts, I proceed to my chair.
My homeroom adviser comes in early. Which is a relief! No one has the chance to ask about why Vince was at our place. I bet that many would want to know the answer since news spreads so fast. But unfortunately, not all people keep quiet when a teacher is there.
“Why did Vince stay at your place last night? And you didn’t text me!” Kit tells me. Apparently, she doesn’t notice the teacher. When she does, it's too late. Our teacher glares at her as she silences herself. I chuckle.
Our adviser says a few announcements and then excuses us from classes to practice again. When I get to the auditorium, Terresse gives me the lyrics for the other song number. I notice a teardrop that fell on the copy. This song must really mean so much to her.

Novela Juvenil"That guy, Vince hates me and I hate him too. Excluding the whole bullying and arguing thing, it is just a pretty simple deal. Hate here. Hate there. Pretty much, hate everywhere. I just deal with it. Besides, I have school works and awesome friends...
