(Later that day)
"Mmh." I rub my eyes and stretch. I look around the room I was in and noticed that I was in the nurses' office. "What the?" I start to remember what happened and how Pitch carried me here because I didn't feel good and because I was about to fall down.
"You're finally awake." I jump startled. I look to my left to notice Pitch smirking at me.
"Um...how long was I asleep?" He looks at his watch that's on his right wrist.
"About 33 minutes." I blush
"Um...sorry about earlier and thanks for carrying me here." He nods.
"It was nothing."
"So, have you been here this whole time." He nods again. Then he held out his right hand to me. It took me a few seconds to realize that he was trying to help me up. I took his hand and sat up on the bed. He grabbed my right wrist and I noticed that it was wrapped around. He started unwrapping it and when he was about done I realize that my right wrist is where my mysterious marking was. I was going to protest but it was too late. When he unwrapped it he smirked. I looked down to my wrist and noticed that the mysterious marking was gone.
"So you don't have a tattoo, but I saw it?" He seamed puzzled like he was really expecting me to have the tattoo.
"Um...yeah." he looks at my eyes suspiciously.
"Ok, but you say it as even you don't believe it." I look at him trying to think about what to say.
"I should go to class before I get bad grades in them," he smirks.
"Ok, do you need any help getting up or going to your next class?" I shake my head signaling that I felt fine now. "Okay if you say so. Oh yeah, don't forget to get a pass to go to your class." I nod and get up. I walk towards the desk when I noticed that my backpack was gone. I turn around and was about to ask Pitch were my backpack was but he was standing there smirking at me while holding my backpack out for me.
"You don't want to forget this, do you." I smile sheepishly and grab it from him.
"Thanks, and sorry you had to carry me with my backpack, I must have been heavy for you." He fans the air in front of him lightly.
"It was nothing really." He grabs the back of his head and ruffles his hair. "Um, I should get a pass too." I nod and we head towards the lady behind the desk.
"Ah, I see you finally woke up Shady. How do you feel?" The lady asks me. How does she know my name?
"Um, may I ask how you know my name?" She looks puzzled by my question but then said.
"Mr. Night told me your name." I look at her apologetically. She smiles at me and Pitch.
"Um, sorry about that, and yes, I feel much better than before, thank you for asking." She smiles warmly.
"It's okay hun." she writes down two passes. "I think you're going to need these. What class do you have."
"Algebra 2." Pitch and I say at the same time. We look at each other and I blush as he just smiles at me.
"With what teacher." I look at Pitch to let him speak first but he refused and told me to say it first. What a gentleman.
"Mrs. Plum" She nods and motions to Pitch.
"Same here." She nods and gives us our passes.
"Have a good day!" We look at her and smile.
"You too!" We reply.
We head towards class when I hear Pitch swear. I turn around to look at him and ask him what the problem was, but he was gone.
Sorry, it's a short chapter. DX
