INT. LUCAS AND HIS FLATMATES'S PLACE, LIVING ROOM – AT NIGHT
Typical university party going on. Guys playing beer pong, people dancing to the blasting music, drunk people. Lucas (now 19) is on the side, talking with a friend while they both drink beer. "Save Me" by Skillet starts playing. Lucas looks around and suddenly freezes, staring at someone on the other side of the room. He is staring at Ariane (now 19), she is wearing a black lace see-through tank top, very short denim shorts and combat boots. She is dancing and not caring about her surroundings. She keeps dancing as Lucas's voice is heard.
LUCAS (over-voice) - She was... everything. Mesmerizing. In second year, she became somehow more fascinating than in first. More beautiful than Aphrodite, more dangerous than Artemisia. A flame I'd gladly let myself burn at, if only she'd let me. I was in love with her, and it was so much more than that.
(He puts his beer down and walks closer to her, looking shocked and fascinated.)
She didn't slap me that night.
(Lucas goes to her, asks her if she wants a drink, she shrugs then nods. He grabs a beer in the fridge and leads her away from the crowd and to his room's balcony. They share the beer and after a moment, she snuggles into him because she's cold.)
