"I'm scared
I've never fallen from quite this high
Falling into your ocean eyes
Those ocean eyes"

Nick's P.O.V
Mike told me the best thing to do was to just be honest. Always. So, that's what I was going to do. Well at least try, since I've never cared enough to do at least that. I'm not even completely honest with myself most of the time.
I tried calling Sophie a couple of times last night. The first call rang until it went to voicemail, and the second one rang only two times before the line went silent. I took that as a sign she didn't want to talk to me. I decided to sleep it off and try again the next day.
I barely slept, though. I kept thinking about her, with a strange ache in my chest. Every time I would close my eyes flashes from the night before haunted me. Her beautiful eyes, her voice moaning my name, her touch, her soft skin, and then her kisses... Fuck her kisses... I need her to kiss me again.
This can't be over.
I've been up since 6 am this morning because it's useless to stay in bed just rolling around in agony. I already went for a run and worked out for a bit, showered and then made some breakfast. Mike just got up and joined me with a cup of coffee for me and one for himself.
"Morning dickhead." he sat down on the chair next to me.
"Hey asshole." We always call each other names. There's usually something wrong when we don't.
"So, did you talk to Sophie?" He took a sip of his cup looking sideways at me.
"No, I tried calling but she hung up on the second ring. Didn't want to push it, so I left it at that." I sighed and leaned back on the chair taking a sip from my coffee.
"Yeah... I figured this would happen. I told you she must be freaking out. She doesn't trust anybody. It must have taken her a lot..." he clears his throat uncomfortably "you know...." he looks away like he's having trouble saying what he wants "you know... to be intimate with you."
I laugh almost spilling coffee from my mouth "You sound like a grandma, you can say we fucked."
"Look, it's bad enough I overheard you two, I don't want to talk about Sophie like that. It grosses me out." He frowns in annoyance.
"Okay okay, I'm sorry." I laugh at his awkwardness.
"Do you think I should go to her house?" I ask uncertainly of what the next move should be.
"Definitely." He says with no hesitation widening his eyes in a suggestive way at me.
It's almost nine in the morning. I think that's an appropriate time to pay a visit, right? I get up from the chair running to get my car keys. I walk back outside, passing by Mike on the porch, "Wish me luck!", to which he replies, "Good luck fuckface!"
I get in my car turning the keys and race to Sophie's house. Thank fuck it's just two blocks away. When I get there, I see Helen in their front yard with a hose watering some plants. She sees me the minute I slam the car door shut behind me.
Oh no... she looks pissed.
"Oh I don't think so...." she says dropping the hose to the ground and waving her hand in front of her chest. "No no no no no!" She points a finger at me in accusation with a look of anger in her face as I come closer to their fence.
