MC groans at their alarm ringing; their freehand, one was buried beneath them, swiped at the alarm. Proving to be a failure, MC pushes themself into a sitting position; stretching both hands toward the ceiling, they bring them to their eyes. Rubbing the remains of last night away, MC surveyed the room; upon doing so, they find themself to be alone, an uncommon sight they think.

This predicament doesn't appear unwelcoming; waking up alone in this room is a rare enjoyment they have; however, they hold no interest in the room's dynamic this morning; today held a promise of escaping. MC didn't care to leave the Devildom in this instance, they merely want to journey outside of the house; being a human proves to have its setbacks in this land of demons, but MC's stupid hero attitude came with gains.

MC shuffling out of bed reaches for their coat; the usage of their uniform won't be fitting for today and neither will other clothes. Taking one glance over in the mirror, they nod in satisfaction; with the decision that their pajamas will suffice, they head out; walking past the empty rooms of the brothers, they slip out the front door unseen.

"I have done quite well without them so far. If it comes to it, I will throw something at any demon that tries me," they say with a glare.

MC, however, isn't unfamiliar with the town before them. It isn't so much they didn't go out-well, perhaps it is. A human wandering these streets is an easy meal to any lurking figure. Though, this won't stop them from executing their plan; to view the park. Indeed, it may sound strange but everything here is strange.

After walking the park and threatening to throw Holy water on a demon, MC comes upon a pond; taking a closer look they see a duck sleeping against the bank, Mc, never one to have common sense, begins to move towards the sleeping foul. Peering over the small ball of feathers, they grin; the bird doesn't seem to acknowledge them or doesn't even care.

Crouching low to the animal, MC softly touches its' feathers; watching the slanted eyes peer up, they hold their breath, seeing no sign of the duck moving, they lift it into their arms. Content with this achievement they begin to walk home, however, MC is thirsty and needs something to cool down; it is official, that the weather in the Devildom is hotter than human world conditions, a feat frowned upon by MC.

Making their run home, they stand before the House of Lamentation, each brother appearing to be home; searching their clothes for the key they sweat, realizing upon their sudden need to leave this morning, they do not hold keys or their D.D.D; looking up at the door they call,

"Can someone open the door?"

The door swings open and MC is met by Mammon with a frown; his slanting lips fall as his eyes widen at the sight.

"Mammon let them in," Lucifer commands from behind him.

Mammon steps away from the door as MC strides into the room; the energy shifts into shock while MC blinks at the demons in confusion.

"MC," Satan gaps.

"Wow," Levi starts, "you normies..."

MC glances at each brother and shakes their head,

"What?"

They turn to stare at Mammon in the hopes that he will provide context; Mammon, failing to help, motions to the creature in MC's arms.

"I don't understand; it's a smoothie," MC replies.

"We know it's a smoothie, but we meant the duck," Levi stresses.

MC blinks at the brothers' words and their eyebrows furl,

"I found him at the pond, so I took him and got a smoothie."
