Salvation (Depressed Hinata fanfic)

Chapter 1

Promises are made to be broken.

Hinata's pov

No... This can't be happening. Someone tell me this is a joke. I felt my mind go numb as I stepped back, wanting to disappear. I could feel someone's watching me, so I tried to bring back my fake excitement.
"Hinata. You've become strangely quiet. Are you ok?" I flinched when I heard my name. When I looked over, I saw Tsukki looking curiously at me.
"Y...Yeah, I'm fine." I mumbled at him, as I watched from behind the new guy. There was no doubt that he is the Shou I know and like that, my fear transformed in anger. What the hell is he doing here? Is mom behind this? It doesn't matter. I can't let dad find him. I got to make him leave.
"Hinata... Hinata... Snap out of it!" I flinched as I heard my name.
"Sorry, I was lost in my thoughts. What we're you saying?" I said with my usual happy smile.
"It is your turn to introduce yourself." Suga told me, as he watched me concerned.
"Oh... Sure!" My fake self spoke.
I looked at Shou, who had a surprised look on his face, tears almost slipping from his eyes. I slowly walked to him, not looking in his eyes.
"Hello! My name is Hinata Shoyo. Nice to meet you!" I said with an enthusiastic voice and a fake big smile, as I looked at him furiously.
I sensed him tense and one tear escaped from his eye.
"Are you ok...?" I asked him with confusion. 'Damn, I feel like crying too. Don't let your mask fall you dumb ass' I thought
"Yeah... Sorry, you look like someone I knew. Nice to meet ya!" Said Shou afterward, looking right into my eyes and trying to make me confess my lies, same as when we were children.
"How about you tell us about you Shou?" Daichi interrupted our staring contest.
"Sure! What do you wanna know? Shou responded, still being in his thoughts.
"What position do you usually play?" asked Noya.
"I'm a wing spike but I can also play as a middle blocker."
"Okay. Better note down that Kyoko." Said Daichi. "Why did you transferred here?" Added him.
"Well, I was raised here until 5, but due to some family issues..." He said looking at me "...I was forced to move away. Now, I decided with my mother that it is the best if we moved here again."
"That's deep man..." Said Tanaka, as he hugged my brother.
"Okay everyone! That is enough for today. Tonight we will do a match to test Shou skills, so please don't waste your energy on useless things. Got that Hinata?" said Ukai
"Yes sir!" I said as I slowly followed everyone to the changing room.
Out of nowhere, Shou appeared beside me.
"Wait for me. We need to talk."

Suga's pov

Something is wrong. I can feel it deep in my veins. I have this feeling since I saw Hinata's face when he saw Shou.
As I was walking to the changing room, I saw the new boy slowing his peace and telling something to Hinata. This surely is strange.

3rd pov

After everyone was done and have left for their classes, in the room was an irritating silence, as the two boys stared at each other.
Hinata: - Why are you here?
Shou:- I'm here to save you.
Hinata: - I don't need salvation.
Shou: - I don't care. I'm here to find the truth and get you out of that hell.
H: - What do you mean? My life is perfect. Since you left I was free.
S: - Why...? Why did you tell us to leave? Why are you still lying?
The boy broke down. He started to cry, looking at his brother.
S:- Please...let me help you. Like you did 9 years ago. Please, brot...
H: - Shut up! Don't you dare call me like that. My life was perfect until now so, go back. I said I will look for you, so, please, don't break your promise.
The coldness in Hinata's eyes grew weaker with each second he saw his brother crying, so, with this last words, he started walking towards the exit. Before he left, he heard a weak "promises are made to be broken". He didn't respond and he left, leaving the crying boy calm himself down.
Unknown by the two of them, someone was listening to their whole conversation.
" Hinata... What are you hiding?" mumbled Suga, as he left, heading to his class.
