The Mystic Rainforest.

As the rain pours down, Mataka sets up a tent to take a momentary rest. As she sits inside the tent, she sets up a small fire to stay warm.

Sitting in deep meditation as the rain continues to fall at a rapid pace, Mataka has a vision of multiple bodies covered in blood and a land surrounded by hellish flames.

Mataka hears the screams of many women and men dying by the strike of swords and spears. She then hears the blood curdling cry of what appeared to be a youngling, echo through her mind.

Mataka gasps as she opens her eyes, breathing heavily, she steps outside and she lets the rain hit her skin. As the rain and cool air kiss her skin, Mataka feels her heart rate begin to slow back down to a steady pace.

"This torment in my heart, it's torturing my very soul. I don't know if this quest will grant me the salvation, but I must continue to strive towards it. For the sake of my soul." Mataka looks at the sack that she has kept inside of her pocket, with great focus.

"I've come too far to surrender, I shall keep going until it is done!" Mataka declares. Suddenly, a knife swings past Mataka's face and it buries itself in a nearby tree.

"Your periodic rest is over Ka'nakhu dog!" Mataka looks over to her left and she sees a woman dressed in black feathered armor. Her body toned and sculpted as if she were chisled from stone.

"Who are you? And what do you want with me?" Mataka asks the woman.

"I am called Klashin, you are to come with me! If you don't, I will drag you by force to my leader and she will end your journey!" Klashin shouts as she draws her sword.

"I warn you woman, if we cross blades, you will not live to see your leader again." Mataka replies to her.

Ignoring her warning, Klashin charges at Mataka with her sword, but Mataka grabs the blade with her bare hands and she throws her into another tree. Mataka takes out her sword and she waits for Klashin to get to her feet.

As Klashin stammers to a vertical base, she is bombarded with sword strikes from Mataka. She manages to block most of the attacks, but a few well placed sword slashes to her left leg manage to slow her down.

Klashin raises her sword and she tries to attack Mataka, but Mataka blocks the attempt and she disarms Klashin of her weapon. Mataka then punches Kalshin in the jaw, knocking her down to one knee.

Mataka quickly takes out the bone spear she retrieved from U'kshin and she impales Klashin in the lung. As Klashin struggles to breathe, Mataka brutally decapitates Klashin as her blood splatters across a tree.

"My journey is far from over. I have to keep moving!" Mataka quickly destroys her tent and she gathers her items. Looking at the sack in her hands, Mataka walks away from the broken body of Klashin and onward to her next destination.

Moments later, Katu arrives at the rainforest with her other two tribes women. She stumbles upon the headless body of Klashin.

"She is heading towards the land of fire, we shall meet her there." One of Katu's tribes women says. As they both follow Mataka's footprints, Katu grits her teeth at the sight of hef friends broken body.

"You're not out of the woods yet!" She says to herself with rage.

As the sun goes down, Mataka travels upon a path towards the land of fire. While traversing the path, she is met by a strong force of spiritual energy.

"Hello Mataka. I see you have done well on your journey thus far. I always knew that you would survive." Says the spirit of The Ka'nakhu Elder.

"Elder... you have..." Mataka stands in shock of what she is seeing.

"I am no longer a part of this world, for I am now one with our ancestors in the realm of the spirits." The Elder confirms.

"So, I am the last of the Ka'nakhu tribe, I am all that remains." Mataka says.

"You are indeed the last of our tribe, but the spirit of all of our great ancestors are at your side, you will feel them as you go on through this journey. Our tribe will always flow through your heart." The Elder says to her.

The Elder dissapears back to the spirit realm, but she gives Mataka a ball of light, as Mataka looks at the light, she feels it's energy flow into her body. The tribal marks on her body glow a bright shade of red as the the ball of light completly become a part of her.

"Ma'shrumilya... Elder. I will never forget you." Mataka says, continuing on towards the land of fire.
