An annoying beeping sound wakes me up, driving dreams I don't remember away. I reach over to turn off the alarm on my phone but all I want to do is chunk it across the room. Chase is still wrapped around me and for a second, I don't want to move. It's nice to wake up with a warm body beside you. It makes me feel a little less lonely in this house, even if his heat is slightly suffocating me. Untangling myself, I grab my robe and head to my room. Taking a quick shower to wash the sweat and smell of Chase off me, I try to get my head out of the gutter. There is no way I will get through the day if I don't. I pull my curls back up into a ponytail and throw on my school uniform. Pulling on my knee-socks, I run to Pogue's room. Chase needs a uniform and I know Pogue and he are about the same size.

"What do you want?" he asks all grumpy from his bed.

"Uniform for Chase," I reply.

He points at his closet and I run in. Finding everything he'll need; I grab them and head back to my room. When I get back, Chase is just getting up. "Morning, sunshine," I say. He just grunts in return. He still hasn't woken up completely. He must not be a morning person.

"You going to school or lay around in bed all day?" I ask pushing his round butt with my foot.

"You're more than welcome to join me," he says. His voice is all gravely, the way guys voices get in the morning that's completely sexy.

I laugh and say, "Sorry, honey bunch, but no. My dad may let me party, but I have to keep my GPA up all on my own. I'm not promised easy sailing like you."

Holding out his uniform, he stares at me like I've grown another head. "What?" I ask confused.

"I really did it, didn't I? I sold my soul to the devil," he says almost to himself.

Rolling my eyes, I sit down beside him, running my fingers through his wavy locks, and say, "Don't be too hard on yourself. It's not like you are the first person to ever turn away from God. It's been happening since the beginning of time."

"Doesn't really make me feel better, babe," he says, his voice deadpan.

"Well, you get me until graduation," I say, smiling sweetly and helping him see the silver lining. I dangle his boxers above him to coax him from the bed. "Come on, get up."

He gives a small laugh and nods as he gets up. I stay on the bed and watch him get dressed. Ten months may not be that bad after all. His messy, but well cut, wavy hair looks perfectly tousled as it falls in his eyes. It definitely won't be a bad ten months.

"Are you riding with me?" he asks as we walk outside. The morning has a slight chill and it's foggy. I might be stronger and more resilient than humans but even I won't get on a bike in this weather.

"Nope, you are riding with me," I say walking to my tricked-out car. It was a present from a john on my sixteenth birthday last year. He was a complete loser with more money than sense, but Daddy wanted his soul and control of his company and I like shiny toys.

"Holy crap, you don't normally drive that," Chase says as we approach my red Nissan GT-R. I think it fits my personality; flashy and fast. Plus, it matches my signature lip color. I'm pretty sure he did it on purpose. He always made sure I had it on when we were together.

Chase looks about ready to shit his pants. "Do you want to drive?" I ask, twirling the keys around my finger.

He runs over and snatches them away from me. He runs around the car like I've given him everything he's ever dreamed of. "Excuse me," I say jutting out my hip all sassy like. No one ignores me over a stupid car, especially a stupid car I didn't even pick out, even if I like it.
