Lil A/N: I'll keep the requests open for now, as this is the only one I have, and then I have like 4-8 more uploads and the book will probably become inactive until requests pick up.

I admit the book is sort of failing, and I feel bad for letting the CP community down. If the book doesn't take off then that's fine, I might try again or I'll stick to the more mainline plots instead of one-shots. I prefer building story and character anyway :)

But don't let that stop you from leaving requests! If you have any ideas (that follow the rules of course) please comment them on the requests page! I'll happily write them!

But for now, I'll let ya'll get to reading, enjoy!

Kids were running around your back yard, screaming and laughing, playing tag and shooting each other with water guns. Remains of water balloons could be seen throughout the short grass, making the yard look like it was covered in confetti. You were currently in the kitchen, making a bunch of small snack for the kids to chew on later, washing up any spare plates and glasses that could be used. Your best friend walked into the kitchen, her blonde hair pulled back into a bun and a blue apron wrapped around her middle.

"Thank you so much (Y/N)." She said, finishing the knot on the apron, "I don't know what I'd do without you."

"Not have a party for your kid?" You glanced at her, "I had nothing else on anyway, I don't mind."

"I know, but I still owe you. Those stupid workers should have finished the pool a week ago, the yard is a hazard for anyone." The girl sighed, before starting to bake a cake, "It distracted me from preparing anything."

"I can see. It's a good thing I still have that summer kit you got me for Christmas." You said, a smile forming on your mouth, "It was almost as if you were planning this since then."

"Pfft, I'm not that smart and you know it." The girl waved her hand, "It was actually going to be for us, but I just can't find the time to hang out unless I drag Michael with me."

"You do seem very busy."

"Yeah, and it's made me forgetful." The girl said, before her eyes widened, "Oh shit, I left Michael's present at home."

You took a deep breath in, before exhaling a small chuckle, "Well you have two options, either let me bake the cake, or I can go get it for you."

"Oh my God (Y/N) you're the best." Your friend smiled, though she looked tired, "I'm so sorry; I thought I had everything. My keys are in my bag."

You nodded, before walking over to the large faux leather bag that sat on the dining table. The screaming from the kids grew louder as you passed an open window, and when you glanced up you could have sworn you saw a grown man standing in the yard.

He looked like he was wearing a jester getup, with bright blue hair that looked like it belonged in the scene years. His black, purple and blue suit stood out against the green shrubbery that lined your yard, and he had a large blue and purple hammer that he was leaning on. His face was completed with clown make-up, and he turned his magenta gaze towards you. A smile spread over his face and you blinked, rubbing your eyes.

The jester was gone, a tree standing where he was; and you felt dizzy. That's when you noticed everything had gone quiet; all the kids were standing still and staring at the tree as well. Had they seen the strange man as well? You growled to yourself, a sense of urgency filling your mind. Swinging the door open, you stuck your head out,

"Alright kids, it's movie time!" You yelled, snapping the children out of their trance-like gaze. They all jumped to your voice, before smiling and running inside. Their wet clothes and shoes didn't bother you like you thought it would, but that might be because you were concerned of other dangers.
