You were every flower I've ever smelt,
Every song I've ever loved,
You were the beat in my chest,
and the dream of my night.
I let you take over my body,
and have a hold in my mind.
But I won't ever feel bad,
about being able to call you mine.
Because now I can't,
sing those songs,
or see those petals,
without thinking of you.
